renew for a year, okay or not ?

Hi,
my maid is good overall, but old (46.5 yaers old, indo). I want to keep her but still thinking her age problem, health problem.
is it okay to renew her for 1 year only ?? is it okay,
can you share ? thanks.

Ithink the contract is normally for 2-yrs? How long have she been serve?
