我剛剛開始做ivf, 現時食避孕丸+卵巢休息針. 有冇姐妹亦同樣開始做ivf? 有冇任何反應? D藥另我昏昏欲睡, Is that normal? Dr. said can't mix up with chinese medicine, any food I can eat to prepare a well enviroment for doing IVF?

Yes, IVF can have long / short protocol, Dr. said it is my 1st time & want to increase the successful rate, so that he choose long protocol, that make my 卵巢 rest more before 打排卵. Dr.Tay is my dr., and you?

I am also seeing Dr Tay but I am taking the short protocol. Guess it is because of my age and high FSH.
Just started my first IVF this month. Just catch a cold and both myself and husband is a bit stress. I was so worry that my illness will affect the quality of ova, so couldn't sleep. Claim down a bit after pray.
Hi, BearBearChris, don't worry too much, I know one most important factor to affect the result is "stress", just relax....
I don't feel very stress yet, may be due to I haven't start inject the "排卵針" yet. But start the "resting 針" make me feel I am starting the program.
Every morning, when my husband help me to inject the needle, I felt quite happy, I can feel he care about me a lot, before it was very hard to wake him up every morning, but now he wake up quickly to prepare everything for me.
Few months ago, I even think about suicide, but now I already understood & recovered phschologically.
Just do your best, we will get what we want.

Up until now, we have 7 sisters are doing IVF, cheers up ! Our painful will soon be over & happiness will come very soon.
I have some questions, does everyone need 噴鼻? Dr. haven't told me I need to do so, he said I will use Gonal-F after the "resting egg needle". Does Gonal-F is the same thing as 噴鼻. Which one is better? Is every sister also feel the 肚和卵巢脹? Seems very scary!
Dr. Tung's timing is better, Dr.Tay need to wait a longer time (at least half day leave), it is not good! But besides that, Dr.Tay is good so far.
All of you are using short protocol, no need to inject "resting needles" & OC (避孕)pills. I seldom heard sisters using Long protocol. I really don't understand why I need to do so?
janemarple28, I am 34-yr-old as well. It is the most cirtical time for us, u better do IVF asap, if over 35, the chance will drop dramatically.
I remember some sisters said, even u join the package, they also count u how many medicines you applied, if more that certain amount, they will charge u extra fees, for u, u are still young, u shouldn't need too much medicines. I think no matter u join package or not, the different will not be too big. Just consider finding a good doctor to increase the successful rate.
Before I also booked Dr.Tung, but after I saw many many messages here, I found Dr.Tay's successful rate seems greater (many sisters are Bingo), so I decided to try him. I think Dr.Tung is the 2nd best Dr. w/ reasonable price.
Hope I also can say Bingo from his help, he always encourage me, every time I ask him how many % I will have baby & how many time do u think I need to do. He always reply me "of course, only 1 time u will have baby", he is very confidence & that kind of supportive words make me feel great.

My IVF process is , start to 噴鼻 at Day 21, and then M come, start to take injection afterwards (maybe Gonal-F)....as I don't know at this moment. But I haven't taken any 'resting egg needle'.
For Gonal F, I've tried and do this by myself (my husband helps me to do the injection) when I'm doing the IUI treatment previously. Side effect for myself is not too much but still 肚和卵巢係會幾脹, 有 痛 , but most scary is my 2nd IUI, I'm using Menogon, my 右面卵巢 is so big and painful, even afterwards I may need to do the injection of 'Pregnyl 黃體素', but I've only finished 打咗兩支, 最後一支沒有打到 , 因為我右面痛到行路都痛 , 見醫生時佢話我有小腸氣 , 其實就係d 藥令到個卵巢脹大到整到d 腸都脹大, 所以當停咗最後一支黃體素'針時, 過多兩天 , 先可以鬆一口氣 , 沒有再痛 ,
So that's why I think different people will have different feeling and side effect, and I just tell myself I can be brave to face all painful and challenge for coming IVF
