My husband also lost his ring in the first few months after our marriage. Both of us were so unhappy and I were kind of mad. But, what could we do? If it's lost, it's lost. My hubby could not even remember where he possibly lost it. Finally, we did not buy a new one. Well, I teased him that nobody knows him married without the ring and he could chase after other women. You know, a ring is just a ring, not something that guarantee your marriage. One of my friends brought an expensive Tiffany wedding ring to her husband and finally her husband cheated on her after married for 13 years. His mistress gave him the same Tiffany one and what he wore was not the one his wife gave him for 3 years!!!!
I have once lost my golden bracklet and I thought that I lost it at work. I sent email to all the coworkers to ask them to keep an eye on it. I even went all the way to everywhere and checked for 3 hours. After 2 days, I suddenly discovered it at the corner next to the front door of my home. It's amazing. Another time, the same bracklet was lost at work again. After working for a whole day, I noticed that the bracklet was not on my waist any more. I checked out my cubicle, opened every box, searched all the folders...still could not find it. 2 months afterwards, when I cleaned up some old magazines and cleared up some space, the bracklet was sitting at the edge of the window which was covered by the magazines before. However, I had checked there several times the day I lost it, just did not know why I could not see it at that time. Luckily, I still have this bracklet today.
