Just open fire with the maid. She told me she just confirm the air ticket on 27th Mar 09 to phil. I was informed only. I want to bring her to labour tomorrow and ask labour, is she aganist the contract that i can fire her without 1 month notice?
how could your maid do this? yes, write her a letter and take a DV to record yr conversation. Tell her she didn't ask for holiday in advance and you won't approve any holiday. No need to be angry, stay calm and fight!

Did you hire her through an agent? If so, call your agent to deal with her first. Has she completed one year of service with you before 27 March? If the answer is 'yes', then she is entitled to the 7 days of annual leave. But I think your maid is too arrogant not to get your approval before she booked her ticket. I do not want somebody that arrogant work for me.
