Usually in Public hospital,Dr will u to do operation before IVF.Because after doing operation,u may get bingo naturally(if yr ovary duct is normal).
If u decide to do IVF/yr ovary ducts are damaged,it is no need to do operation before IVF.
醫生叫先做腹腔鏡,通常有2個考慮:一方面係想盡量通番輸卵管/解開黏連,等你可以自然有。另一方面係怕輸卵管有積水會影响著床。
In my case, there was no evidence of 積水 from U/S. So I only needed to consider whether i wanted to have baby naturally. Natural or artificial wasn't my concern, I just wanted to have it FAST (age is our enemy), so I chose to do IVF directly.
In your case, if your doctor found that there is 積水, I think it's better for you to do the operation first.
