外幣掛鈎存款

通常可以收到幾多息,你地會幫襯邊間銀行?
有無例子可參考,現在有那隻外幣推介?

Rate at 31-1-2005
HKD/NZD: 7 days ATM: 20%
USD/NZD: 7 days ATM: 21.8%
HKD/AUD: 7days ATM: 18.86%

Many combinations and different date have different interest rates. Better rate than HSBC, Hang Seng, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of Communication, Bank of China, Wing Lung Bank, Bank of East Asia and Dah Sing Bank. Similar rate to Wing Hang Bank, Citic Ka Wah Bank. But of course, if you have a lot of money to do the deposit (above HKD 5 million), go to those investment banks to have better rate.

廖創興d價可為現價或價外, citibank d 價表面幾好, 但你要看清楚協定價是否價內, 我并無幫襯過citibank.

Risk is smaller than buying straight foreign currency. The high return is the tradeoff from your potential higher return (which is of lessor possibility) with smaller return (the quoted interest rate). Also, you cannot do anything until maturity date for currency linked deposit, i.e., less flexible than buying straight foreign currency.

Most suitable for those have many money. It is because it is like you are 莊家 in a game--High chance to gain a limited return but still a small possibility to lose a lot of money which is same as you invest in foreign currency.
