- I also let piglet use the plainest type of stationery.
And write name of stationery on colour pencils, and on stationery, as far as possible.
You will find that they lose more ...

At first I chop name on sticky label then wind it around each pencil and stick on every ruler / case / eraser.....
But he usually tears it off himself.
So now I just let him use the plain pencils.....
and write name using permanent ink signpen on colour pencils (space provided on Faber Castell colour pencils).
This way, no need to be too careful with losing expensive stationery.

What is the diff in size ?

Yes, 7 is v lightweight, and stylish too!

As far as I know, M size ($890) is just an inch longer/wider than S size ($690). In view of piglet's size, he should be fit for M size 7.

As the belt is adjustable, I do not see any need to bring piglet to try (as ALL mums here highly recommend 7), unless he wants to pick his favourable pattern (may be not much available now). :mrgreen:

O, yeah, you need to do a lot of preparation too.
Remember to put 1 or 2 sets extra clothing (incl underwear incl underpants incl socks) in schoolbag for at least 1st 2 yrs. Otherwise KLLC will let him wear the old ones they have -- quite damp / smelly ga !

Also need to bring 1 damp towel in box and 1 handkerchief / dry towel in pocket. So do sew on cloth name labels.

Remind your MIL / mum (forgot exact identity) to check schoolbag daily when Jun goes home. All the damp soaked clothes will be put inside schoolbag,

I thought it was N1 ? K1 la ? so fast, time flies.

That's why I bought the label machine with cloth label at book fair to prepare for this, 2 sets school uniform = 6 pcs + PE clothes = 4 pcs+ towels+shoes+extra clothings + undies, wow, lots to iron... and I'm the one to check and pack every night... No black shoes were bought yet, have to action this weekend, still puzzling where to buy it, Jun's feet are think and board, Dr.Kxxx a good choice

I buy piglet's black / white shoes from
步陞 (Prince Edward Rd near flower market / Bird park)
$1xx @.

Head of shoe has big head = lots of space.
Piglet also has quite wide feet.
Cannot wear K-Swiss.

Good enough as the shoes won't last long anyway.
Dr K's are not worth it - read sometime somewhere that they are also made in our motherland.

Or if you want to buy better ones, try Wing On, or 麗虹 in Lion Rock Road (near Pr Ed Rd) = the kids shoe shop on top floor of Festival Walk which sells some ergo type of kids shoes.

Me too. My bb also will go to school next Monday. Just asked bunbun to sew the name on his uniform and handkerchief, not yet socks.

By the way, my bb can say vv and poopoo at home. But when he is busy, he will just say at the moment he vv (ie not enough time to go to washroom). But when he sleep or go outside, we will put on diaper for him. Should I also put on the diaper on him when go to school? He studies in whole-day kinder.

I still haven't bought any undies for him

Please advise.

So you can use your old name again woh !

Actually for diaper or no diaper,
you should ask the KG.
Diff KG has diff preferences.
But same applies : Need to bring along 1 - 2 sets of clean clothes.
For underwear, safe bet is to buy from Jusco or Wing On.
Or Marks and Spencer.

Dr. Kxxx shoe is very heavy...you can try POPI and Toonsland which have round head shoes and around HK$1xx when on sale.

I have ordered the labels and transparent stickers at one of the label shop advertised at BK website here.

Re: black shoes, I find Geox is light weight and good looking, but comparative more expensive (~$5XX)!

I bought a pair of black sport shoes at Timberland at 30% off 2 mths ago. Will let Kv wear it at school cos Timberland is v durable and not easy to wear and tear.

I read about the bags, but piglet refused to go to OcTerm so hasn't bought yet ah !!
If he goes to OcTerm, I will need to go to TRUs and buy Lego (eg Exoforce or Vikings or Bionicles) for him !!
He calls me (from home) daily nowadays, only intention is to ask me to buy buy buy !

I just surfed for Ferarri backpacks -
shops in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing,
LA, Las Vegas,
and places like Rome, Venice in Europe !
Can ship to HK though.
But the backpack is really intended for laptops,
the straps don't look good.
