I use to teach my son numbers when we travel in the lift, ie. all the floor numbers and teach him that way ha ha, 'cos he use lift everyday ar ma. And also as him to count 1-100 (not writing just speaking) at bedtimes. It helps if you use play method and not just sit down and write numbers.
If he is only K1 then no need to hurry.
