Glad to hear that you guys got extra money on moving, but new place will take you lots of time to adapt. Clean the house, open the boxes and put it in the right place....it is very time consuming!

I am not sure if your husband is correct as Goldcoast sound like a tourist place to me. When I was traveling there few years ago, you rarely spot any Chinese there. yes, japanese may be as lots of tourists are japanese.

It is funny to see your worry! If tsunami happen, it will affect everyone along the coast, includes HK. Besides, if you are not close to the beach, then you should be fine.

Shark...it also happen in HK. If you know how crazy the Aussie about being on the beach, then you dont wonder why the shark bit them. The chance is higher as surfing and swimming is their main activities. The shark will not come to your house

)

No celebration ah, because my hubby works in restaurant. We will only have dinner together when we have day off together. I used to work in restaurant too, we have been together 12 years , I think we only ate valentine's dinner once about 5 years ago....

I did buy him a few tops that he can wear to work. Sort of a CNY & Valentine's presents loh.

I don't need to work on Public holiday but my hubby needs. Since he only works 5 days . He can be off on 初一&初三 which is quite good already

12yrs...it has been a long time! Do you know him when you are very young as I think you are very young mom.

Is he a chef? If yes, he can cook you a heart-shape steak to show his love..hehehe..

We never celebrate valentine anyway. My husband did wash dishes yesterday without me saying anything. He said he wants to buy me a plastic flowers but I said lucky he didnt buy it as it will be another garbage in the house! Instead, my daughter received many valentine cards with candies from daycare classmates.

One thing she really impressed me, she said she would save one candy for daddy and she did....after she was holding that last candy for half an hour and has few bits on it. Daddy said I am mean as he doesnt like candy anyway, but I said it is a test to see how much my daughter can resist on candy. She did and at the end, she ate the candy after daddy's permission.

Does that mean that your husband's restaurant will be opened all through the CNY public holidays??? Have to look for some place to eat during my 'Yanyan' is off!!!!

Yes, his restaurant open everyday during CNY. But he won't be there on 初一&初三. If you make a booking, let me know . I'll make sure he looks after you. I may go there on 初二, but not sure yet.

I wish my husband is a Chef, he can't cook !!! He runs a restuarant in TST East. Worst is he only eat meat & starchy foods

My dad questiones me once B 4 we got married how can I be with someone so picky on food
