1. There is no Asus P45K-V motherboard, I think you are talking Asus P5K-V, a Intel G33 motherboard. www.hkgolden.com quotes $1175, and I think the shops should sell at even lower price.

2. 800 means DDR2-800 (speed of the RAM), 1G means the capacity of the RAM (1GB per RAM). Your "ram 1g twin" means two 1GB RAM of DDR2-800. I think now the price should drop below $300 per RAM, so two should be below $600.

My overall advice is, if you are not familiar with hardware and DIY, you should buy 廠機 instead (unless you have a friend that are very familiar with hardware and DIY and willing to DIY and provide maintenance support for you)
