桌上電腦 ：HP, Compaq or Packard Bell...急！！

我打算買1 set desktop computer, I plan to buy either HP, Compaq or Packard Bell.

Is anyone using the above brand now?? Which brand should I choose (more reliable)?? 除了看價錢， 我想知以上的牌子， 那一個質素 比較好（不易壞機）


Also if I use Windows XP Home edition, can I just use 256 MB (main memory) or do I need to have 512 MB??

Any comment?? Thanks for your help!!

對於廠機我沒有任何意見(因為間間都差唔多...)

至於Ram嘛，愈多更係愈好啦，尤其WinXP，256Mb已算最基本要求，budget可以既話choose 512Mb啦....

HP = Compaq, they're the same company now.

256MB or 512MB RAM? It depends on what applications you use. If you do a lot of graphics, photo or video editings, then you need at least 512MB in order for the PC to run smoothly. On the other hand, if you just use the PC to surf the Internet, do some word processing, watch video or play games, then 256MB should be enough. You can always add RAM later.

我係用緊 packard bell 架﹐用左四年啦﹐o個時係豐澤買架。
咁耐淨係壞過一次﹐仲係因為燒左fuse,過唔到電呢d問題﹐
同部機既性能一d關係都無﹐買機佢會有隻復原光碟跟俾你﹐
所以例如部機有咩問題呀､中左毒呀咁﹐用光碟再重新裝一次就得﹐我覺得好方便同好滿意。
