想買部電腦比阿女，她讀中三，我見有D電腦有外置顯示咭，請問這外置顯示咭有什麼作用？請問需要買一部有外置顯示咭嘅電腦嗎？

In short, u don't need a display card unless she plays serious PC game or need architectural design function. If merely web-base game like Candy Crush, don't bother n go for for on-board display (aka built-in display). Besides, a decent card cost $3K+. Of course, if

ain't a big deal, go ahead.

玩一D高質素既Game，樓上都講咗，普通Facebook game係無需要。另外要留意，呢類卡(盒)既連接頭，唔係部部有，如果買desktop，直接買張靚卡，如果買notebook，問清楚插頭名稱和版本。
