Thanks for yr sharing. I'm hesitate to choose between Chungsing/Ling Oi/元小上午 for my kid. Each schools has their merits/demerits. For Chungsing, they'll have new campus in coming Sept & the band 1 rating is about 60%. It seems good. However, I learnt less about their teaching methods.

My girl'll study P1 in coming Sept. If choose Kwong Ming PM, she need to attend PM classes for one year before it moved to Yohoo Town. And I learnt that KM have many homeworks & exam. All that I concern about KM...
How about Ling Oi, LO is also one of the band 1 Primary school in YL. However, I think that the school is a bit small & less facilities.
As I live in Kam Sheung Road, Tin Shui Wai is quite far away from my house. Thus I prefer the PS in YL/TP.

係呀!靈愛/元小/鐘聲都interview o左,一直都心大心細,靈愛絕對是一間好學校,但我好希望小朋友能夠在千禧校舍學習,有足夠活動空間,加上尚有一個妹妹跟在後,故此選擇千禧校舍亦是考慮之一. 光明亦是很好的學校,不過要等一年才搬校,加上聽說功課/考試壓力大,對於working mom會有壓力.
最終,我們選了鐘聲,其校風和口碑都不錯,小朋友亦很喜歡此校. 希望小朋友能在輕鬆愉快的環境下學習,畢竟,6年是一段挺漫長的時間. Good luck to yr kid too!!

You need to ask yr target school about their application procedure after 中央派位 cause each schools have their own methods. After I submit the application form together with the requested documents(eg copies of profile/派位証/birth cert...), they'll contact you for interview by phone/letter.
For my case, my reason to apply YL schools is moving address. You've better to have a good reason to "knock the door".
For Ling Oi/元小 interviews, my kid attended them by herself. They are requested to do some drawing & general questions in English & Mandarine.
For Chung Sing, the principal only ask me why to move address and introduce their new campus. He's very nice & kind and my girl likes him much.
