[澳洲] Doctor in Epping or nearby suburb? [複製鏈接]

Do you usually visit doctor in your nearby suburb? Any doctors in Epping, I have never seen one and do they usually need to make appointment?

medicare centre 同私家醫生都可以睇，medicare 都有得 claim，我聽朋友話 medicare centre 就俾60蚊先，跟住你可以去medicare claim一半，我自己未睇過；我睇私家醫生（好似香港0固 D 診所仔），就俾十幾蚊現金，其它就唔使，又唔使去medicare去claim，聽人講有d私家唔收你錢添；我睇0固個係香港人醫生，講廣東話。我睇個私家就離我屋企開車十五分鐘距離，因為係講中文，好過講番話。

至於藥費，醫生淨係睇病，開左藥方之後，你自己去藥房買藥，呢點同香港唔同。你睇診所門口個姓個英文串法就知香港人定大陸人架啦。

無論medicare centre or 私家，都要打電話預約，我第一次睇醫生就係咁走入 medicare centre 話睇病，結果冇得睇，話booking full 曬喎，所以我先走去搵私家睇，私家醫生通常你第一次走入去都會幫你睇，之後你有左電話，就打電話book囉，有時阿女大傷風，一早打去，就算booking full 左都會話大概幾點鐘人少d，你來等下，幫你睇埋啦咁囉。

其它野，等你附近的媽咪來答你啦，我唔知Epping係邊，多事來八下咋，你唔好鬧我啊 :lol

I know there is one very close to Epping Station.
I haven't been to here before though.

I normally go to the one in Eastwood.

(Two shops away from Franklins supermarket).

She is very nice and can speak Cantonese and Mandarin. This centre does bulk billing -- that means if you have a medicare card, you do not have to pay a cent at all.

I also see Jennifer Chan. She is very good but she is so popular. You always need to wait for 2 weeks to make an appointment.

However, her medical centre do walk in at the morning session.

I only see her for body check so I alway make an appointment.

I know some of the mums they have changed to see other doctors because it's just riduculas to wait for few hours at the morning to see her especially when the kids are sick.

Birth 15/3: W:4.2kg L:52cm HC:37.5cm
Day 09: W:4.37kg L:55.5cm HC:37cm
Day 46: W:7kg L:62m HC40.5cm
Day 82: W:~9.2kg L:~66cm
Day 112: W:~10.4kg

I might have bumped into you before then. :)

They somehow change their systems a bit now.
If you go and queue up early, they will start giving out "ticket number" at 8:30am. The doctors start seeing patient from 9am onwards though.

If you can take the first few tickets, you should not need to wait too long.
Just a bit after they changed their systems, I went there at 9am. I ended up finish seeing Dr. Jennifer at 11:30am. :(
However, the other time, I arrived at 8:20am. I took the ticket and went somewhere else. I could see her at 9:30am that time then.

Finally I went to see doctor in Rhodes (where I work), called for appointment in the morning around 10:00am and scheduled to see doctor at 4:50pm, waited 1.5 hours.

I have no medicare card (not PR), bought private insurance, have to make a claim afterward.

I used to live there and went there this morning, should have ask you for lunch!

C6 is seeing the doctor in Rhodes...hmm..Dr Ong? something like that. I don't like them because they didn't tell C6 who can have injection for free and we ended up paying around A$100 for the injection. Even we can claim back part of it from our private insurance, but still, very pixx off.

I know the injection should be free for C6 because Dr Jennifer Chan told us

I saw Dr Jackson Chen when Dr Jennifer Chan's queue is too long. He is ok too but he is not an OB. General flu or cold is ok.
