I agreed that it's 50/50 to hire a good maid. I suggest that you cannot accomodate all the request of your old maid . But if she deserve to such good performance, you should counter-proposed to her to increase the salary to 3500 but the condition is the additional ($230 x 24 months ) will be treated as bonus and only will give her until the 2nd contract is finished. Because even you add to 3500 to your old maid, she may think you cannot live without her and she will getting bad in the 2nd contract. It's no gurantee she can perform same well even you pay 3500 each month. Therefore, you still pay 3270 but the extra treat as additional bonus. You warn her if she go out to get another employer, she also have 50/50 risk to find a good job with higher salary and the most important you wil not give her a good reference letter!! You tell her it's the mutual agreement, but if she not believe you, let her go!!
