I guess the tour agent you mentioned is in HK? one of my friends in Canada also met a situation similar to yours and she was trying to book the AC ticket too, at the end, she just decided to book another flight instead of the same one.
I wonder if this kind of tricks is from AC or not.

the tour agent is in hk.
i dont think it's the tricks used by AC. cuz over so many years, i had no problem booking tickets with other travel agents.
this is the only agent that i had problem with.
