I used to be a working mum and often "one eye opened and one eye closed". Now I am a full time mum, I spend most of the time looking after my kid, my helper can have more time to do the housework...but NO. She only does the housework when I am at home. Once I wasn't at home, she would stay in her room talking on the phone, listening to CDs, watching Cable TV's movies, talking to other helpers in the building for hours (my boy told me and I found it when I suddenly came home earlier). I found many places very dirty. I have reminded her many times that I can now have more time to look for another helper if she doesn't make any improvements. My husband and me do not want to fire her because we do not want my boy to get used to another helper again as he has to change to a new school for K1.

My ex-maid had the same problem, once I know, I find a new one and then terminate her. (My husband do not want to change the maid, but I know I do the right thing). My maid also borrow money from financial comapny.
