My friend employed a local maid from 8am - 7pm for HK$8500. And she is not very willing to do such long hours, she agreed only because it is for 2 months or so. I think live in local maid will cost over HK$10,000. Even with this cost, you can hardly find anyone! How can we not rely on foreign workers?
