Subject: RE: Problems of Healthy Times in HK-Urgent
Dear
Our baby cereal has been on the market for 31 years, with no incident of allergic reaction. One lot that was only sold to Canada was tested by Canadian government and they claim there was 60 parts per million of gluten in the one lot of baby brown rice baby cereal. This amount is considered by the Codex International standard to be "Non-Gluten" . This lot was only shipped to Canada and is safe anyway for babies that are not allergic to gluten. All baby cereal shipped to Hong Kong and all other brown rice baby cereal that was shipped is negative on gluten. The particular lot that is being reported tested negative when we tested it. There was one allergic reaction in Canada by a 4 year old. We do not know what else she consumed and if the reaction was a cause of the baby cereal. This lot was sold in February and most has been consumed with no other incidents. We believe if there was an issue, there would be many incidents. This has not been accurately reported so that people understand the situation. You are completely safe with our baby cereals and we apologize for the confusion. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
