I am not sure will he have more hair that we cut his hair so early. He cut hair often because he has lot of hair when he born and he sweat a lot. Also, his dad loves very short hair.

we didn't do it for my son. i guess that's why he still has very thin hair now. but i think it's ok for boys.

You guy are talking about the record of no hair cut, I think MattMatt must be the winner of the most often hair cutting. After his first hair cut at 1 months old, he cut hair every 2-3 months because he dad is a hair cutting addict.

Hi Bunnymonkey,
Yes, that was Marcus's 1st haircut. We never cut his hair and I really liked his long hair look! From the pictures, you can tell that his hair was not that long before the hair cut.

Check on email and pls email me if you want more gathering info.
My son had thick/long hair so we need to have his hair cut when he was like 11 or 12 months old because it was just too hot for him. :) So your son can sit still for the whole time during the hair cut?

So that was really your son's 1st hair cut? I cut/trimed my son's hair at home a few times when he was sleeping so it's kinda ugly (coz he move and my hubby was carrying him). The daycare Ah Yee keep saying we need to have bb's hair cut coz it's too long and his hair get wet very easily (too hot). My son can't sit still for a hair cut.
So how does your son like the preschool? :D
P.S. I had a sip of the coffee (brew in office) this morning and it tasted awful... I didn't drink more than that sip :( I guess I may need to bring my own coffee to work later.
BTW, are you joining our gathering on sept 9 in Great Mall ah?

the new Whole Food in cupertino is much larger than the old one. u must check it out! my son likes the tofu sushi (the only kind of sushi he likes) there. it's just like a block from the music school so we usually went there to pick up something to eat.
however, not sure if we'll keep enrolling him into the next group piano class session since he seems not too interested in it. he can read the musical notes and played the simple songs (but not too fluently). coz he never likes to practice playing piano at home. luckily we haven't got a piano at home yet. we just took out an old keyboard for him.
sigh ... i know my son is not a "c men" guy. he only likes to play with the computer and sports. he went to the piano class and drawing class only becoz he likes to hang out with other people.
btw, just found out my son's cousin just started the 3-yr-old class at Yew Chung today. he used to go to Waha Montessori (bilingual school but mostly chinese) in cupertino when he's 2. now his mom has to learn talking to him in mandarin coz he already get used to talking in mandarin. Waha is in cupertino but i think it's very expensive (with most teachers from mainland china) and they only offered full day program for the toddlers. so my hubby's cousin paid like $1200-$1400 a month even if he stayed there for 1/2 day only.

So you don't like Challenger and Stattford, I just heard they are good. I didn't visit any pre school campus, but I will visit them later. Thanks for your comments.
Do you have any pre school suggesstion for me? I only know Challenger, Stattford & Yew Chung, but my husband doesn't want MattMatt go to Yew Chung, he perfer Sat Chinese class instead of Chinese pre school, even though our friend highly recommend it.
Where do you live? Your son takes piano class in Cupertino?

didn't know anything abt the FCS main campus. sean went to the Fremont Blvd. campus (preschool campus only). i think it's a much newer campus than the main campus.

Yes, you are right. Lunches are included in the tuition at FCS. We have considered FCS for Marcus (Candace attended FCS from pre-school thru 1st grade). However, almost all the experienced teachers are gone at the main campus. Actually, FCS is more convenient for me but we decided to go to VCS.

i was there on Wed after my son's group piano class was over. lots of people there and took us a long time to park. no wonder .... when i got home and looked at the receipt, realized that there was $5 off if u purchased $25 and over.
btw, after i've visited several campuses of Challenger, i realized that the schools don't care too much abt the safety and happiness of the kids but academic.
Strafford is probably abt the same, coz it's formed by the former teachers from Challenger.
