Talking about Step-into-Reading, there are not many cheap sources. When you want a full series to choose from, then bookstores are best like DyMook and P.1, now King Hang.

If don't mind treasue hunt, kick-my-kids do have some good titles from time to time. Sometimes, Mydear will have a few titles of them but not those very good ones. There you can get 20% off. i..e 38 x 0.8 = 30. That is more or less like the bookfair offer by King Hang la.

Btw, for ORT, i heard that some shop offer 20% off and buy-5-get-1. Is is Oxfrog or other? In that case, maybe even cheaper than buying in Singapore (re Kittylock's recommendation).

Hi che,

Science Centre is not new cos I'd been there 8 yrs ago. I went there the 2nd time because the entrance fee is cheap (just S$6) and the centre is large and educational. You may consider bringing your child there next time.

Snow City is on the other hand a new attraction and has just opened few years ago. It's just a few minutes walk from Science Centre. You can ski with a bubble ring and play snow man. But the temp was -5.9 degree, my son was freezing in the Snow City la!!

Back to the Book Fair topic, I found some Magic Tree House, A to Z Mysteries and Junie B are sold at $100/4 books at Commercial Press booth (Hall 1), i.e. avg $25 per book (almost 34% off), quite good price la!

Just checked with my receipt of this Putonghua pack, still cannot find the exact name of the company. You may try 創思傑兒童教育有限公司 5B26 C25. It should be somewhere around this stall.

我在這間看了一會, 價錢同 Page One 一樣.
但好似有 -10% off.
不過折左依然幾貴.
有位女士(南亞人??)會講廣東話介紹玩具.

萬五蚊, 實在太太太太太貴了.
之前在 BK 見提起過, 但現在search不到.

honics Kingdom" from GC but I found which is not suitable for my kid. It is included 2 books and 2 VCD and CD. If you are interested it, I could re-sell it to you at the discounted price($188).

昨天實在太多人,比前天少了收獲,今次有老公倍可以買番昨天漏買既書~

1) 景行 (hall 5)
~ 牛津兒童百科全書 $135 *超厚裝
(話就話比囡囡,其實我都好鐘意,因入面好多平時解答不到小女的問題,入面亦一一提到...如地球,人類,空氣點黎呀...等等好多好多!

)

2) 大眾 (hall 1)
因星期六好多人在此counter,我只留下一會.因不甘心,昨天再看過,今次對我來講就好失望,個人覺得佢係散貨場 :-|

~ 東京mui mui vcd (one set 12pcs vcd) $138
唔知點解咁順攤買了比囡囡...

3) 次文化 (hall 1)
~ $50 /5 本書

原想再去番hall 5.因老公很倍我去看書展又用左好快既方法入場,兼倍足我看4個鐘.(其實佢同囡囡在後半場已坐在出口到

)
算la...人又實在多,5點就走人la

我都買左 $140 1 set, 書是係 A4 size, 我都是給牠的大和真實的圖片而買的, 最好的是可以給小朋友認識一些很小/難見到的動物是什麼模樣, 不過囝囝只得 3 歲, 所以一定要和囝囝邊睇邊說給他聽. 另, 還買了 ladybird, 講給 counter 的員工知囝囝是 3 歲, 他們已即時幫我執了 6 本.

我係大問口對住的大 counter (新雅或wellluck) 買了兩本硬皮書, 因為臨走才買, 書名忙記了, 只記得是"創意xxxx", 都是 $10 本, 最好是裡面的紙質是有一層膠面不易 c 爛, 我覺得真係幾抵買, 佢有好多可以揀, 我買的創意系列好似係 1 套 8 本的.

還有的是在朗文買了兔寶寶多元學習係列, 1 套 6 隻, $100/3隻, 呀仔最鐘意, 有得玩有得學.

仲有係新雅買了很多 vcd, 主要是 Noddy, Ping-gu, Thomas 和芝麻街 (芝麻街在 kiss my kids 買), 不過 Thomas 的 vcd 好似無乜平, Vol 1 -10 都要 $55 隻, 仲貴過出面. 不過 Noddy, Ping-gu 同 Tweenies 就 $30隻, 算係抵.

我是星期六下午一個人放工去, 好多人, 又拎住 d 書好重, 所以只係行左 4 個鐘就走, 現在心思思今晚放工想去行多一轉.
