Both Nexus and Magellen are nice!
Sapi is quite polluted and too many tourist. While Manukan and Mantik are clean and the water is clear.
My daughter enjoyed the trip very much just that she has no appetite and eat very little.

Sapi still has plenty of fish, but not colourful.
Venus,
The buffet at Penyu is okay. only Rm68 per adult. Age under 6 is free. I've tried the theme buffet (Italian night) at Wednesday. It's good. I know that they have Arabian theme buffet at Monday and Seafood buffet at Friday too. You can try try.
I want to try the Malaysian buffet at Kingfisher but it's under renovation.
And there're also BBQ buffet at beach on Sat and Sun
I have no time to try the Spa but I saw that the price range is from Rm200 to Rm800 depends on what you want.
You can go to lagoon park to play water sport. Ride on the horse to walk along the beachside(highly recommend for those do not have to look after children, it's so romantic).
Catch crabs and watch sunset on the beach. many many small crabs.
When we stayed in Magellan , we went downtown for dinner everyday. We went to both 不夜天 and 海王城 to have seafood. We just order fried rice for my daughter. When we went to eat hainan chicken rice and 肉骨茶, she refused to try so we have to order room service for her when we get back to hotel .
We had lunch mostly at the islands. They have sandwiches , burger and fried noodles.
