The Biparietal diameter (BPD) - The diameter between the 2 sides of the head. Your bb's BPD is 6.8 cm, and the estimated EDD based on just the figure from BPD is Sept 8, which is at 26w1 (i don't know what is the ±13d).

The Femur length (FL) - Measures the longest bone in the body and reflects the longitudinal growth of the fetus.

The Abdominal circumference (AC) - The single most important measurement to make in late pregnancy. It reflects more of fetal size and weight rather than age. Serial measurements are useful in monitoring growth of the fetus.

So, based on these 3 numbers, there is an average date of EDD.

但半身麻醉, 想丈夫陪產 ~ 都要問返自己醫生得唔得

醫生淨係話bb size細lor，同埋佢話同我之前有幾次o係廣華check到高血壓可能有關wor，但係又話唔係大問題，but希望bb唔好早產，如果唔係一定超輕磅~

另外，我仲以為你地o係私家生一定可以陪產同一定可以錄影添，原來都要問準醫生ga~

Is it because your last M-come day was not accurate? Or the date that you made the bb was not 14 days after the last M-come... these will affect the original EDD.

唔準. Dr. Tsang told my friend that her BB would be about 6+ pounds during delivery, but my friend gave birth to a 7 pds 10 ons bb eventually...

Acutally, the weight is not accurate, the AC/FL/BPD will be the indicator and the weight is just derived from these nunmbers.

I think the size of BB is not too small laa... I remembered last time when I went to my private doctor (I was in week 24) and the doctor said my bb inside was 1007 grams and 2 weeks ahead of average baby size... and that means the average bb of week 26 is 1007 grams laaa

and now you're in week 27 and your baby is 949 grams... only 40-50 grams difference... don't worry...

I agree that the people in HK haven't got much 'love' towards pregnant women... I remembered once when I took MTR back to office in the early morning (coz I'm afraid of crowded!!!) and a middle aged man used to compete the seat with me!!! see... that's a typical HK people...

and I have many times experiencing young 'OL' treat you in nothing and continue to talk over their mobile phones with their friends or sleeping in the MTR...

BUT somehow it's quite interesting that I find some 'non office type' men and women they got more 'love' than those 'office' men and women!!! so, I think the degree of love which a person has doesn't relate to their career or even educational background!!!

I have just checked the table for 27w, here it is:

26w = 850 gram = 2 pd
27w = 1000 gram = 2 pd 3 on
28w = 1100 gram = 2 pd 7 on
29w = 1250 gram = 2 pd 12 on
30w = 1400 gram = 3 pd
31w = 1600 gram = 3 pd 8 on
32w = 1800 gram = 4 pounds

So, your BB is not very light when comparing to this table. Don't worry and people said the last 3 months is the time for BB to develop muscle, so, eat more red meat and high nutrient food will be OK

我由有左到而家只係重左約7磅，而bb又得2磅左右，胎水又正常，咁我食左d野去晒邊ar :-x ，"side"晒d野食添 :-P
