Thanks for the greetings and hope that you all are doing well. It has been a stressful time since we arrived. Lukas was sick (threw up) last night and we had to take him to the hospital last night. He is all better now. I thought it was the food he ate. We cooked him salmon for dinner and after that he vomited heaps. So, I have to be very careful of seafoods in HK.
However, both Zac and Vienna enjoy HK very much so far. They are being entertained lots by the grandparents...hahaa... Since my in laws are living just in the next building of my parents', our kids can enjoy both estates' club houses facilities in these areas. There are lots for them to do. Lots of play areas in these buildings...So it is easier for us!
We checked out TKO yesterday and looked at a few flats over there. We love to have a flat there cos' it is a clean and convenient area. I love the big shopping mall...hahaha... We were told that living in Sai Kung isn't as convenient as living in TKO and we agreed with that after seeing these places. I think it is good to live in TKO and go to beaches in Sai Kung (not too far away).
I was surprised that how convenient KTO is. I basically can do all the daily things inside one big building. Isn't that cool? Banks, supermarket, GPs, food markets , even a dental clinic.... It has MTR directly to other places. So, we are so satisfied with KTO..
so, we are going to check out more flats at TKO today and hope that we will get a flat we like over there.
We are more likely to put Zac to the Logos Academy for primary education after talking to my friend whose boy is going to attend this school this year. My husband loves Zac to speak fluent Chinese and he is very happy about that this school teaches Mandarin as well. This school's teaching style is very much like international schools' but attended by lots of Chinese speaking kids (that is what exactly we like to see). so, Zac will learn Chinese through interactions with his friends and enjoy the school works at the same time. How cool it is!
BTW, are there any mums besides Banana Ma, living in TKO ? We might be neighbours very soon. I am excited to settle down in HK soon....

We checked out a few flats at areas such as East Point city, Residence Oasis (above Hang Hau MTR) and a brand new building called Grandiose (above TKO MTR). We like the newest and density (lower) of Grandiose but we concern about the noise and air pollutions at that area cos' lots constructions are going to be done. This means it can be very noise and the windows need to be shut all the time.
I like East Point City which is the most convenient but the flat is quite small (we looked at the biggest unit already).
So, could you please recommend some other flats above KTO or Hang Hau MTR to me?
We also went to Discovery Bay last night, this area definitely is a delight but the transports and other facilities aren't as preferrable as KTO's.
Have u seen oscar by the sea? I'm staying there. It's size range from 600-1400 sq ft. It's not so convenient as East Point City but it's a good choice if u want both quiet and conveniency at the same time. Pls pm me if u want more info.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. I really would love to have a flat at East Point City cos' it is the MOST convenient one. It is so easy for me to take care of three kids daily. We looked at a few flats there and the one we liked the most turned us down because the owner doesn't want to rent the flat out for those have young kids like ours. So, we have to consider another one which is under rennovation at the moment and will be finished in 10 days time. We also just have been told that our shippings won't be arrived HK until late Sept (much later than we were told .... stink!). So, we are going to stay in TST for another month.
We visited two kindy today (GreenXXXX and AllianceXXX). We like the Alliance better cos' the principal and teachers are so friendly and helpful. They had a discussion with us about how to help our kids learn Chinese. However, the GreenXXX had no idea how to help our kids and the Chinese teacher said that the kids just have to pick the course up on their own pace. So, we really feel that Alliance is a great one except the place is very small. The GreenXXX is quite big. The bonus from Alliance is the school fee is very cheap (three times cheaper than the GreenXXX's). If we decide to put the kids to Alliance, then we can save up more for the future. So, it isn't a bad idea. The kids were entertained by the Alliance staff very well (with snacks) while we visited there.
I asked both Zac and Vienna which kindy they liked. Zac said "I like the second one (i.e.GreenXXX) , it is a cool place and l like the uniform cos' I don't like red (Alliance's uniform is red and Zac doesn't like it) but I like the teachers at the first one (Alliance)"

Nice to hear that we may be鄰居呀! GreenXXX係咪都係坑口個邊個間(因為有2間, 一間係寶琳個邊), 如坑口個間, 蕉仔上年就係係個度讀pn, 坦白講, 幾commercial架間學校, 但對你地有個好處, 佢叫做有國際班, 咁Zac同Vienna可以易dd適應囉。佢地學既野都算深, 但係係品格培育上, 我覺得就麻麻地囉! Alliance係咪宣道xxx咁呀, 我估呢間係品格培養上會比GreenXXX好dd

We have found a flat today and will sign the contract tomorrow. But I am sorry that it is not at KTO. It is at MOS. But I am sure we will see each other one day. We are glad that we found this flat cos' it is big enough for our family (even it is not very big, but it is HK , most of the places are small). We don't mind it. The club house is excellent (our kids will enjoy it I bet). Also, the look outs are all green (mountain views). We are satisfied with the transports there. Now, I have to look for kindy and schools...busy...busy...Thanks for praying for us btw.
