Seems that you and your son are mutually encouraging / reinforcing each other on being shopaholics !!

My son also wanted ALL books on cars and trains he sees, and always look at the back cover to see whether there are any books missing from his collection ga.

I just tell him that :
1. He already has this book and that book and the entire set of xxxxx, so nonono to additional alternatives.
2. Mummy is soooooo poor, because of the Govt, the ex-CE and the current CE. (This will divert him ==> curse the Govt, ex-Ce and curr CE.)

You have no doubt already heard my jokes re my son's

during one of his interviews for P1.

My son will at most ask me to read and read and read more books every day. He is too young to know ordering. Re $$ concept, he just knows that he needs to pay money to the cashier (mickey mouse one) when buying at supermarket. And the machine will go doo doo doo.

Seems our son are much alike.

My son tends to read "New Books" instead of "Old Books". May consider just borrow them from the library to save space and $$.

I also haven't heard of the P1 interview joke ah (or may be I've forgotten), pls tell us!

In short form :

My son told me one night, after 1 interview and as we were preparing for another interview, that he told somebody at the interview, that mummy is poor because the CE (ex-CE Tung) took all mummy's $$.

I asked him
1. who was he talking to (interviewer/teacher or somebody leading him into the interview room)
2. what was the original question

Ans :
1. Teacher interviewer
2. Do you know who Tung CW is ?

Reason :
My son always wanted to buy this and that, I usually say nonono, reason being mummy is poor ==> my son asked why ==> I told him it is because the Govt and CE (Tung CW) took mummy's $$ so mummy is poor.

:idea:

Interview result :

He was

admitted.

I think the teacher was in sympathy.

Hi Kitty,
It is really a very active forum/chat room. I have to chase more than 10 pages just because of not having turn up for 2 days.

Audrey is fine. Her eyesight problem has been improved a little bit. e.g. At a test, the normal distance for a child at her age to see an object with a clear image is 3 yards. However, she took 12 yards for the same object. :-( :-( After wearing the eyeglasses for 2 months, she requires 6 yards to receive a clear image. She will have another follow up in Sept to see if there is necessary to change for another spectacles.

We are going to Japan for holidays on Wed for 9 days (自由行). I am so delighted as I haven’t been to Japan for long time (since honeymoon). Audrey insisted and argued that she loves to go to Canada, as she likes snowing.

Actually, she does not know Canada, she learnt the place and its weather by the book of ‘My first atlas book’. Books are powerful! But I am sure that she will love Japan very much once she is there.

I second that you are so 24-孝.and your son is so smart. It is deserved to spend more money on him as you can see the good outcomes.

I would like to join the group order for ‘Read at the Storybook Factory, would you please count me in.

You know, I am another shopaholics.
