But mums do tend to regard this as educational material = Engl language teaching material,
whereas it should be educational material = some kind of everyday life near-cartoon figure material.
Should not jump to the conclusion that educational material must be Engl language teaching material. They can be different.

三個人每人掏了 10 元湊夠 30 元交給了老板.
后來老板說今天優惠只要 25 元就夠了,拿出 5 元命令服務生退還給他們,
服務生偷偷藏起了 2 元,? 然后,把剩下的 3 元錢分給了那三個人,每人分到
1 元.
這樣,一開始每人掏了 10 元,現在又退回1 元,也就是?10 - 1 = 9
,每人只花了 9元

3 個人每人 9 元, 3? X?9?=?27 元 + 服務生藏起的 2 元 = 29 元 ,
還有一元錢 去了那裡？？？

Dear Gloria,

I remembered that my son liked to watch TT when he was 1-2. My son started to speak quite late (~3yrs), and by that time we were very worried.

(Probably due to the confusion between CHin and ENg.) Since that time, we switched to talk to him in ENG. (That's why he is not good in CHin now!!!)

As some people said TT would delay kids' speaking ability, we stoped to let my kid to watch TT anymore.

I only know that 服務生藏起的 2 元 is already part of the $27. So this calculation is incorrect.

This question is tricky, but if you think carefully, you may know the answer.

The last statement of this question guide you to the wrong way of thinking:

3 個人每人 9 元, 3 X9=27 元 + 服務生藏起的 2 元 = 29 元 , 還有一元錢 去了那裡？？？


Actually the correct thinking logic should be:

3個人每人9 元, 即他們共付了$27元，減去服務生私自扣起2元 ，即酒店老板實收25 元 ---> 3 x 9 - 2 = 25

PS. NZ people is soo.... stupix!!
