She called back last night, said she wasn't feeling very well, too hot at home, maybe a mild flu, and volcanic dust from a volcanic eruption somewhere in Indonesia made people very uncomfortable.
Hope she will not be sent to hospital in HK for suspected bird flu if she has a fever !!

And hope the volcanic dust won't blow to Sing when we are there la.

The cheaper version Phantom:1 DVD9 disc (141mins movie only) $22.

THe set of Phantom 2 disc version: 1 DVD9 (movie 141 mins) + DVD5 120 mins (interview with the actors, composer Andrew lloyd, clips about the evolution of the phantom from the time of 70's till now, etc ...)

The following information is copied from amazon showing all the details of this special edition.

The two-disc edition of The Phantom of the Opera has two major extras. "Behind the Mask: The Story of The Phantom of the Opera" is an hourlong documentary tracing the genesis of the stage show, with interviews by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, director Harold Prince, producer Cameron Macintosh, lyricists Richard Stilgoe and Charles Hart, choreographer Gillian Lynne, and others. Conspicuously absent are stars Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. Both do appear in video clips, including Brightman performing with Colm Wilkinson at an early workshop, and Crawford is the subject of a casting segment. Other brief scenes from the show are represented by a 2001 production. The other major feature is the 45-minute making-of focusing on the movie, including casting and the selection of director Joel Schumacher. Both are well-done productions by Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group.

The deleted scene is a new song written by Lloyd Webber and Charles Hart, "No One Would Listen," sung by the Phantom toward the end of the movie. It's a beautiful song that, along with Madame Giry's story, makes him a more sympathetic character. But because that bit of backstory already slowed down the ending, it was probably a good move to cut the song.

If you love the phantom, this is really a set of 超值 version!!!

I bought this on DD. Of course, if you get through IXXX, the total cost will be lower.
Moreover, this set of NG-WOL is more suitable for P1-2 level than the NG-reading expeditions (published by 外研社 ~ 44 + 4X books).

The China version of NG-WOL are published recently which are now available on DD.

This is a very good set of non-fiction science readers.

For this China version, there are 18 books and each book includes 4 different topics. (For the original US version, these 4 topics are published into 4 separate books.) There are altogether 72 different topics . It is a good selection of books for summer reading.

According to the officical NG websites, these are the titles selected from WOL: Fluent Plus.

I think it's better to order DD products and let the courier sent the goods to HK. As it's too risky to ask your HB to bring DVDs from China to HK!
