I prefer the individual set. The Times 4000 has over 300 pages for 1st and 2nd parts and the individual set has 100 pages. My son doesn't like the book very thick.

For 少儿启蒙英语-说话/ 活動册
I nearly bought all (1A, 1B, 2A & 2B) 说话/ 活動册, cassettes except one 活動册. It is not easy to buy the whole set at dd. The contents are good. One is for conversation and the other is for drawing, painting. The tape's pronounication is good. Compare with HK bookshop's exercise books, it is really cheap but the paper is thin. It is published by Commerical press.

All moms,

I find 新加坡儿童英语阶梯阅读与训練 quite good by looking at the sample page at DD. Seem like Ready Reader nature.

And, I trust the English standards (or Singlish standard) more .

You can consider trying this set. I dare not try the Top Talk set I mentioned early (as they are not based on an English speaking source). Pls correct me otherwise.

Besides, I have got 不看不知道系列 already. The contents are very good. E.g when introducing flowers, they will tell you their bloosoming seasons, their seeds...etc. For fruits and veg, they show you the cross section and tell you a few features. Good and inexpensive and good for young kids.

I am a bit 多事 and suggest you don't consider this set. Your English may be adversely affected as the English there in is very strange. Better consider all other better choices as listed in the Index page.

I found a good casette playing machine (with 2 microphones) sold at Toysrus toy fair last night.

Just $70!! Good price and the quality is quite good.
