I got my SS VIP card la. Attached to the letter is a HK$20 coupon tim. Oh.... I will buy the Animal Antics there. The version at MyDear is just a small hardcover book but the one at SS is a folder like collection of sep. paperback books. But both versions are marked at HK$16x!!! How dare the small hardcover book is for a such a high price !!!! :idea:

do you think it is wise to skip Tokyo disney ? My hubby suggests staying in downtown w/o going to DL as there is DL in HK wor. I still think it is worth going, isn't it?

I am choosing between century southern tower or le meridien. As for disney land stay, tokyo bay as you did.

The sales ranking on Amazon is a dynamic figure? The rank of the book is now "#20" a few minutes ago (rather than 18.) This is a very high ranking on amazon for a children book.

Well-Written and the Songs Are Good too., August 30, 2005

Teacher Jane Schoenberg and her husband Steven, a Musician, have teamed up to create a wonderful book/CD combo explaining to kids all about how the body works. The songs deal with body functions like movement and muscles, the brain, breathing, and even passing gas. They not only wrote the book but they also perform all of the songs. The music was quite fun and my three year old enjoys many of the songs. The lyrics are catchy, here is an example:

Your brain keeps sending messages right out,
Tells you to be quiet, and tells you when to shout,
Tells you when you're happy, tells you when you're sad,
Tells you when you're feeling hot or cold or hurting bad.

Simple but rhythmic which kids will enjoy. Nicely illustrated as well. Great for pre-schoolers up to grade 1 at least.

Jane Schoenbergs childrens book My Bodyworks is a very informative well illustrated and imagnitive look at body and health from a kids point of view for what the book cost it also comes with a sing a long audio cd that comes with various styles of music sure to get your feet moving this is proboably one of the best if not the best childrens health book around not mention the audio cd makes it that much better definatly worth checking out

"My Bodyworks" is an excellent choice for elementary school librarians to include in the collections for K-3rd grade. What a fun way for young children to get to know about bones, muscles, and heart, a great resource for health programs in school. I recently donated a copy to a local school library and the teachers and kids just loved it. It is also a wonderful gift for cool grandparents to give to their grandchildren as I did.

As a longtime babysitter, and a childhood Raffi junkie, my standards for 'children's music' have always been high. Finally, after 10 years of suffering the popularity of 'Barney' , we have an antidote! This book/CD has music that kids love and I actually ENJOY. The sophistication of the songs, the intelligence of the lyrics, and the up-beat pace all keep me interested. The kids just start to move, almost unwittingly, which allows them get their energy out in a positive way. Definitely a long car ride keeper.

My Bodyworks is amazing. The songs are cool, but the fart song really blew me away! You can learn a lot about your body by singing along and following the words in the book. Even my parents (who don't usually get a kick out of this kind of stuff) loved it.
