You may be able to find some of this "Leapfrog D配件" in COSTCO warehouse / Target supermarket.

No, just that it is easier to type in Engl.
Also when in SF I could only type in Engl on the old dinosaur PC.

You need to buy from Ah Ma Zok asap if you plan to do so, cos for some items delivery takes time ga. Also you need to alert your friend / relative that some items (heavy books) are due to arrive, and one Ah Ma Zok order may mean 3-5-7 parcels, some with only 1 or 2 books.

I prefer trad. chinese too, but no choice ma. ixxx only has simp. ch/english, so i treat them as english books not chinese book

Friends,

At last I have settled in the hotel (9am at HK airport and now 8pm+ in Korea). Out of the 11 hours of transportation, only 4 hours on flight!!!

Those koreans in airport could not even speak English well. And, some are impolite, esp guys!!! I hope I would have better time in Seoul downtown. The old taxi driver drove me to a demolished hotel site (ex-address of the hotel) whilst the new one is just opposite to that site. Really 'hark sai yan'!!! We spoke 'space language' to each other.

Will visit Coex where there is a huge aquarium as well as shopping mall. Imagine one of such in Korea downtown.

1 hour driving distance between airport and downtown.

Got to go for dinner (Korea is 1 hr ahead of HK). Very expensive to stay in Korea!!!!!!

I order chi go fun at last w/ lower than bookfair price!!

I experienced a dying-PC at the airport in Korea (provided by Korean airline for free). 10 mins to enter this topic and can't post thing. I and switched off (myself!!).

"space language" ha ha! How funny!
I believe the English and behaviour standard have been improved there.
I know quite a lot of Korean who know Mandarin and let their kids to learn Chinese nowaday.

Good Luck and enjoy! Just beware of all those passers-by when you are walking in town. They are so rude that they won't 让人行先on the narrow road and just knock on you. Food are expensive and not tasty but addidas there are very much cheaper (in the official addidas shop).

BTW,
where is idxx? my son is now 13 months and he is not patient to stay and read which I think it's time to train him up. Just started to read this topic recently and to my surprise you are so informative. My son will only flip 2-3 pages and leave, not really look at the books but on playing "flipping", he always like to explore new things (Itried to buy books in diff shapes). Any advice on what type of books shall I buy for him / he'll be interested in?

Hi Gloria,

I'd been to Korea almost 10 year ago. People was not that rude as comment by you guys at that time.

However, their food was really TERRIBLE!! And we could not communicate cos most of them could not speak and understand English ........ Actually besides buying some trainers, playing at Lotte world and viewing the ex-Olympic sports museum, it seems not much to do at Korea!

btw, have you got any info from the kinder that a special holiday be arranged during 2nd week of Dec due to 世 貿 部 長 級 會 議?

I've asked the kinder of my son and they said that special school leave will be arranged for Dec 12-13. I know some kinders (at HK West) will arrange school leave for the whole week (Dec 12-16)!!

One of the BK mum told that there would be BIG THING happened at Wanchai at 世 貿 部 長 級 會 議, so better avoid going to Wanchai and CWB during that week !

Maybe Govt will make it a statutory holiday for everybody ??!!

Seems that HungHom is also an affected area.

So all those living or working in HH, TST, CWB, WC, Central and Admiralty (ie where the VIP Guests stay and also the CBD) should stay home, and a curfew should be imposed on these areas !!!
