My boy is taking 通利 class, really good. The teacher is very fun, not boring at all. Too bad that we have evening class, my boy doesn't have time to take a nap before going. Otherwise, he would enjoy more.

I also want to know more about the 通利 musical class, is it really good? As my friend (piano teacher) suggested my girl to take up piano not till she is 4.5-5 yrs old but I want her to do some musical class before that. And "ak C" also have this class?

For the Tom Lee class, actually I was introduced by Ellenclive, if you girls can still remember her. She was the one who handled the X'mas party money. My son misses her son once in a while cos they went to the same playgroup before, plus they were born on the same day.
3 years old classes are not provided by every Tom Lee centers. Like people who live in TKO, the closest centers will be Tai Koo Shing & TST. That's the reason why people have to wait for years & years. We go to the Tai Koo Shing center every week now.
The class is quite different from PAK C classes. As I heard from my son's classmate's parent, PAK C really let you play songs on piano, & all students share one piano. They all take turns to play in front of the class. No parents is allowed. Tom Lee which I think it's good because parents have to go with them, & we have CD & books to review at home. We don't play any piano, instead we can expose to different instrument from time to time. Every pair of parent & child can have 1 electronic keyboard (１臺電子琴), & we use the keyboard to play different sound effect. The class teaches kids how music is, like the speed, loudness....etc, very little music theory.
The teacher is very good, very active & playful. All the parents & kids enjoy very much. Actually, I also play the piano, but I really wouldn't know how to make music so enjoyable for my boy before going to this class. Both of us look forward to the next class every week. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
Lastly, I think the tuition is ok, only $5XX each month. Worth joining! Btw, the class lasts 9 months. After the completion, we can join the 4 years old class right away.
