good weather in BJ. the downtown is very nice. Quite some traces of the 2008 Olympic Game everywhere. Tried a si fong choi (run by a HK guy) last night. Quite nice!
my son is playing so happily at my sister's place (SO........BIG!!!). really should live in BJ if one has chance and a good job there. Living like in a foreign country.

All books I have pre-ordered in BJ can fill a big suitcase already. I probably won't spend time at bookstore, if at all possible.
I think the one who really 'WALK' should be just Gloria herself.... you know kids would usually ask us to hold them as they don't want to walk by themselves la.

Mine still has no clue about his homework, doesn't even know what he wrote in the assignment book, and of course didn't pay attention in class (claimed he could not hear the teacher) ==> didn't know how to do his homework.
My son is always absent minded. He lost 3 pairs of chopsticks and the cover of a tower box in 2 weeks time!!!
Luckily he doesn't have much homework, only 2 to 3 worksheets, everyday. A few short sentenses daily, some Eng worksheets and visual journal / drawings.
I will ask him to recite the Chinese poem and revise with him the Chinese Characters (make sure he can recognize and read or write those words).
He loves the science lessons because every lesson the teacher will perform some interesting experiments. He knows how to find the "blind spot". Why does the food heat up in the microwave? How can the aeroplane flying in the sky? etc ......

My son and my elder daughter were born in Sept. We need buy at least 4 birthday cakes (2 for celebration at home and 2 for KGs birthday party) in Sept.
