For medical check, it only costs few hundred dollars for taking out those fundamental tests (e.g. hep A/B, sexual diseases, etc...) and my friend said when my bunbun comes HK, I can contact her anytime so that she can arrange for me...

BTW, pls beware that insurance may take effect in 10+ days after you submit your form (not for processing...) and so do count the days when your yanyan comes...

thanks for the reminder. I don't want to buy the insurance before the maid arrives as I don't know whether she will really arrive and arrive on time or not. At least I want to wait until she issues the ticket, then, I will submit the form.

sent. Pls check. This is the list for public hospital. If you go to private hospital, the private hospital might have provided some of the items and some will be un-necessary.

Congratulations!! Glad to hear everything is fine. You must be handling things very well since you still have time to share your experience here. I rememeber l was totally lost when I first faced the new born, couldn't sleep and eat, not mentioning having a chat with anyone. Wish your little princess be healthy and happy and you recover very soon.

you mentioned that you called your doctor mid-night for advise. Did you ask for it and your doctor will give once the 醫生信 is issued?

when will your maid come? Think you gotta be quick, your due date is quite close to mine and I have been starting to wash BB clothes these few days and it seems it's never ending. Didn't realised that it takes a few days to do it. And I haven't steamed the bottles....

Actually, I am not the kind of person who like to ask others to do things for me... For the past 2 weeks, I have finished shopping nearly all the baby items, washing all the baby clothes and beddings, sun-bathing the clothes, intensively cleaning my apartment, cleaning the 2 rooms and moving the furnitures to make room for the maid and BB, etc... etc... Although found a bit tired, but I managed to finish the tasks. I am thinking of taking care of the BB by myself, and I will only ask the maid to do the daily housework and cooking.

I have 下面會有醃痛既感覺 for long time already, and my stomach contracts quite often that I hardly walk. Didn't experience this on my last pregnancy, am quite worry of the early birth......

My bunbun wil come to HK this Sat/Sun and will start to work next Monday.

However, I'm thinking of instructing her to do an in-depth cleaning of my flat first like cleaning the kitchen, toilets, furnitures, rooms... coz I haven't done it since I pregnant.

For baby clothes and other things, I think after she has finished her household cleaning., she can start to do loh, plus the boiling of milk bottles, plastic nipples, etc.

Luckily I haven't brought many clothes for my bb and so hopefuly this won't take too much time la.

BTW, have u started to visit to your doctor's clinic once a week? and have u done the pelvis exam?

I always wish my baby won't come out earlier than week 38 since I'll only start my maternity leave at week 38.

I've got the doctor's leter when I was in week 28 coz my doctor will have his vacation leave from 19 to 25 August and so he gave me the leter and told me what to do if I have birth symptoms by that time.

Will u join the package offer by Union Hospital?

My next visit will on the 35th week, still on every 2 weeks. She is very busy since these 2 mths and wonder when she will change my schedule.

No pelvis exam is mentioned yet, nor for any other test. May be she knows that I'm still struggling on whether to try the natural delivery (I had C-section last time) No letter is issued yet also. So what happened to my doctor?! ?-( Did Dr Yu give you any contact for emergency?

Most likely I'll join package since I'm not that well-planning. Remember you joined the course in Nursing association, some of the sourvenirs that you got from there may save your money if you don't join package.

I won't start my leave until the last week (with some contingency plan of course) cos I need to involve in some projects before going off. Very optimistic right?! :wink:

May I know the reaons you had Cesarian last time? My doctor said I can try this time and she will only give me abt 6 hrs for trying. Do wanna try but personally don't think I'll succeed. And it will be more expensive if you end up with C-section as emergency. Sorry, which hospital will you admit this time?
