Can you describe what it is? Is it from mainland or overseas or TW ga. W/o such info, rather difficult to guess which one you refer wor..?-(

Have you tried searching this topic and the topic on overseas books yet? If not, try first. See you need more info from us than what can be found in the two topics.

Kelvinmama, go to the English sharing topic i posted lately. The author is Julia Donaldson ah.

I find a few Collins Cobuild at Mydear. But find that those published by 外研社 have words that I look for whilst CC ones do not. In that case, CC may not be good enough for my use.

I 've found the good dictionaries i want at DD. Good price. But still have wrong $$ calculation!! Strange!

Now they have cal correctly but when i tried to pay the bill, they 'force' me to choose the new delivery choices (Express or Normal mail) but will charge me product $$ at original price. They don't allow me to proceed if I don't choose either one. Silly DD! Sigh..

我用開一本叫"英漢大詞典",係三聯書店出版,陸谷孫主編,好似本電話簿咁厚,我覺得好好用,查到好多幾僻既字,我用左好多好多年lu,讀書時期用起.....我果本係繁體版,果時買要成$600,我見過簡體版,好似分兩冊,平好多,如果你唔嫌大本,你可以去睇睇丫.....

至於漢英辭典,我用開"漢英詞典",商務印書館,可用部首同埋普通話拼音查字

I have found economical versions in mainland source la. HK$600 is too much when comparing with the $ I have got. Yes, actually I am looking for something like what you said. Should be big enough !!

It is difficult to choose between Cobuild and others. I find the Cobuild doen't have the rare words e.g. aarvard, genet, jacana and okapi (which are all very special animals). But I can find them in those dictionaries published by mainland sources.

Headaching!! :-(

Anyway,..thanks. I will look and compare before deciding to buy.

我為左查出原因, 我都身受其害. 我也嘗試選擇其他運輸方法,就返唔到轉頭, 我會星期一向service求救．:-(

**後話:
我用我以前開左無用的戶口試做, 選擇快遞, 竟然使費是$5, 不過這個戶口沒有積分呢!

本書係大陸, 平裝, 好平, Size係A4的一半, 係你介紹的, 上次我搵其他書時見到, 所以都唔知係邊到搵呀..我都有試過搵, 但搵唔到..
