All 24-hau mums,

While window-shopping along Orchard Raod (Sing), AM came across a shop selling SPI / Lego schoolbags, and ergonimic furniture for kids - writing desks, chairs.

They looked vvv similar to the ergonomic furniture sold in SPI shop in Ocean Terminal, but AM found the finishing of the display set to be rather rough (some sharp edges in hidden areas) compared with that sold in Ocean Terminal.
But price of the sets in Sing was only half of that in HK.

I asked, and the salesgirl confirmed that :
everything is flat-packed (like Ikea furniture),
for self-assembly, comes with assembly instructions,
weighs about 54.5 kg @ writing desk.

The shop we found was in Centrepoint Shopping Centre, where there is a "Robinson Department Store). Go to the floor selling kids' items, then exit through the doorway next to toys section. You will find the shop opposite to the toys section.

In the basement of this Centrepoint Shopping Centre is a big supermarket "Cold Storage" same chain as 7-11 in Sing.
You will find lots of mult-colourd Yakult, also fresh Durian.
If you love to eat fresh Durian, can buy there and eat as you shop.

For Yakult, I found there were 2 types :
Yakult manufactured in Malaysia (original taste = S$3.4 for pack of 5; single colour /taste = S$2.7 for pack of 5 of same tast, incl orange, grape)
OEM of Yakult also manufactured in Malaysia (S$2.7 for pack of 5 of diff taste : 2 original taste, 1 grape, 1 green apple, 1 peach)

Remember the ORT Dictionary FXPC bought for me form HK Pop last year, when I was in SF ?

Confirm that this book, "My ORT Dictionary Stages 1-5" is identical to the "ORT Dictionary Stages 1-5" we got / are getting from Sing Pop.

The one bought in HK last year was 2000 edition, the one from Sing recently is the 2004 edition. Identical in contents. Different ISBN.

2 of the books under the Sc Level 2 series were not cut properly - the edge of some pages were not cut at the top.
But piglet already tore through the Ants book, so cannot return for exchange. :-(
And a few pages in the Volcano book, but I was prepared and cut them out so no problem with this one.

(Not complaining or blaming you, just to let everybody know ja. I will tolerate that for 50% off.

)

Yes, I saw them. But I don't like those Korean authors' English. Strange. Yet, frankly speaking, their illustrations are attractive indeed!

does jojo class have a girl called Joyce Yang. Her mom told me that the sch fee will be raised to HK$18K per mth. Really unbelievable. Even if 80% goes to St paul, still really dear!
