watched Sound of Music tonight. it's fantastic !!! finished at 10.45pm - longer than normal. i got excellent seats (just 3 of us in a row and very close to the stage). my girl was very cooperative. sat there by herself for the first half (which was 1 1/2 hour long!) i am tempted to go watch again. :mrgreen:

i think both of them are not really very smart and outstanding. that's why they were unhappy. they said those who are average or below were neglected. competition among students is really keen. the school is very 谷 type. also, it required much parents' involvement. there are many full time mums who are able go to school regularly (and voluntarily) to work in the canteen, library, other activities...i have one friend who have 3 kids there and she takes part in many of these.

(correct me if someone knows it is not that now: in the secondary school, every term there is a mark and ranking in the class for each and every subject!)

i think if the kids are really intelligent, there should be no problem.
