My baby has shifted the day and night, she sleeps in the daytime and awake at night. I don't have enough sleep as she crys for milk every 3 hours. Does any mom know how to solve this problem?

我大肚時好勤力塗肚紋膏，點知都出現肚紋 :cry: 依家生完bb塗chicco既產後肚紋膏，希望有幫助啦 依家個肚中間條啡色直紋仲未消失，請問幾時會淡色或消失呢？ :evil:

我都係呀, 亞囡鐘意係2am到4am勁喊, 要食奶. 因為我餵全人奶, 好多時佢係到嘆奶, 所以攪好耐

你餵全人奶, 半夜餵時, 亞B會唔會嘆奶, 同埋係半夜餵時, 要餵耐點. 我好多時夜晚餵, 佢要攪成2hrs. (由其係2am - 4am)的時候....

Luckily, I have my mom and my sister-in-law taking turn helping me "sit moon", my husband also took 2 weeks off from work as well. Funny to see that my husband taking order from them and he is doing all the housework and helping to cook since he has never done so much ever before

I read a book (Becoming babywise) saying that after feeding the BB during day time, try not to let it go to sleep directly. Play with it and make it awake for awhile, then, BB will sleep well (and maybe overnight) at night time.

I still haven't practised this theory as I don't have this problem... as my BB just wake up once at night time and will finish 3.5oz formula within 15min

A few years ago, my husband said he wanted to be a full-time house-husband and have me work outside Now, he realizes this is impossible as during the past few weeks, he nearly did every housework WRONG!!!! I was so upset at the very beginning, but now, I just take it easy and ask him "don't try to help anymore... this will help a lot!"

cannytang and other moms,

I've been back from the hospital with my bb... we all are fine... :mrgreen:

The days in the hospital are okay and the impression of Union Hospital to me is really good!!!

Starts to be busy laaa... coz needs to breastfeed la... but still I need to have the mix (milkpowder + breastfeed) together in these few days!!!

The time I deliver him was like a battle!!! on 14/8 early morning, I found 'show'... but not much 'pains'... still went to the hos for checking + waiting... but for one whole day... no special symptoms of delivery...

on 15/8 9:30pm onwards... freq of pains --> 5 mins and the degree is ... increasing... after 10 hours later... I and my hubby went to the hospital again and found that VD=2 deg... so... went to delivery ward imm and 8 hours later... baby was born...

but the pain was soooooooooo......

for me is not loh... I found 'show'--> went to hospital but still be kicked out at night!!!

Congratulations! Can't believe end up our babies are born 1 day different. How do you feel? Since my baby has jaundice and feeding problems, I have gone out many times so far. No rest for me.

Congratulations to you and your husband too. Your little princess looks so cute!

Yeah, I always knew that I would be early but when Dr. Ho told me that me and my baby are ready and he is going to induce me on Aug 9, I was feeling so scared and excited that THE DAY has come Did you have epidural? I did when I was dilated 6 cm, I almost bite on my husband :lol: I am feeling fine now, how about you? and how is your daughter doing? Nathan has jaundice too, but the doctor said he is ok, I have to feed him more frequently and that will be cleared eventually. Did you see Lydia for consultation? Luckily I am breastfeeding ok, but sometimes, Nathan is crying every 1.5 hours or so and when I fed him, he falls back to sleep after 5-10 minutes. He has lots of poos and pee pee though, that's how I figured he is eating ok.

Do you have any help? try to get rest when your baby is sleeping too, I know it's hard but I have been told by so many people that this first month is very important for us for recovery, have to eat well and rest as much as possible.

Hello all Aug. mom,

I gave birth to siu-b girl on Aug 11 at Baptist Hospital through normal delivery, she weighs 6 lb 5 oz when born.

I had "red" shown on Aug 11 4am and went to hospital at 7am, it was only opened for 1 cm and not much pain. I stayed in hospital all day till 7pm, it was opened for 2 cm only and doctor suggsted that induction being used. Siu-b was born at 9:52pm at last. The pain was so.....o bad. But my doctor was really good and my stitched part has very little pain.

Ansie,

I had epidural because I couldn't stand the frequent and strong contractions after having Pitocin.

Lydia went to HK when I found out I have problem on breastfeeding, so I visited the breastfeeding clinic operated by York Region. They are very good and we have gone there twice so far. We are doing better.

I can't stand my girl need to be fed every an hour since last feeding.... so tiring.

We both need to take care. We may get together after a month or so. Which pediatric is Nathan seeing? Caron is seeing Dr. Lau Ho Yin.
