Good / Bad news :

Gap 3rd order was, again, cancelled.
Same problems.

Gap for being sooooo narrow-minded.
If they cont to behave like this,
they can never become a multinat co.

And I will be keeping all 3 new Lego sets in the office.
Until piglet has properly earnt them.

Yes, the points system is working quite well - by piglet standards. He tends to over-report what he's done.
Imagine : 1 Oxford Lit Web book (between stages 6 - 9) = 1 point. He easily got 31 points in 2 days !!

Piglet usually sleeps late nowadays, esp when there's no school the next day.

We got the police sea plane from CWB TRUs :
less 10% on everything yesterday (not sure if today's the last day or not),
then used the $10 coupons.

Otherwise you can find it in TKShing Jusco, same px ($249), maybe less 10% but not sure cos it may be special px then no further discount.

It's $238 in one of the smaller shops in MKK (not Sino Centre nor YMT) but only 1 box so maybe gone by now.

RMM,

Where did you buy the brown house ?
Which Jusco ?
We did go to TKShing Jusco wanting to buy,
but found the px tag there was $549,
but was $499 in Whampoa Jusco,
so we bought from Whampoa Jusco instead.

We plan to go to WildWildWet and maybe Snow City.
Any bad comments on any particular insurance co. ?

That time you went to Snow City,
1. was it quite $$$$$ ?
2. was it quite troublesome, cos need to wear thicker clothes / long trousers... and had to rent jacket + boots + gloves - were these clean ?

Cos if it is troublesome, then maybe we should skip it this time and leave it for the next (longer) trip there.

Haven't seen the police seaplane at Toyrus/Sogo/Uny/lego-web b4. Trust it must be a newly launched item.

Re: Snow City, can't remember how much was the entrance fee... may be around S$1x per session (1~2 hours).

Yes, you can rent snow jacket/gloves (but not pants & boots) there at around S$1~2, but they're wet and quite dirty!

True, vvv impressive, but also quite expensive.
Already found in Yahoo auctions, bidding at HK$1900, or can buy from YMT In's Point mall at $1999.

Cafe Corner #10182, US$139.99,
HK$1899 at LF
My cost (cos I bought it) = ~HK$1500 incl postage

Town Plan #10184, US$149.99,
HK$1580, $1650, $1680 (In's Point), $1999 (LF)
Our cost = ~HK$1600

Market Street / Cafe Corner / Green Grocer fits together ==> 1 street scene.

Market Street #10190, US$89.99,
$1199 in LF.
Our cost = ~HK$960

Went to Sogo last night, the Police Sea Plane was there, also $249.
I think this item was not sold on Lego.com.
The HK shops might have got it from their Euro sources instead of US sources, or maybe it was one of those items not available on Lego.com but available from Lego shops in USA. Funny system.

If you say the jackets in Snow City are quite dirty, then I'd better forget it. Just go to Discovery Centre and that military training venue tour.
We may have a group of 5 adults and 4 kids at least, incl my cousin's family and my niece + her son. Hope it is manageable.

Any budget for your Harrod's bag ?
My worry is, so many ppl from HK go there esp Easter ==> buy all the goodies.

Hi all,

I'm back! Still feeling tired, esp my back, painful muscle。Landed late and arrived home by 1am, 搞呢樣搞果樣, unpack, slept at 3am but have to wake up early in the morning to go to work again.

Didn't buy much this time, the exchange rate is now 3.93, everything becomes "not cheap" now. It costed us Baht900 for a meal at the food court, well not expensive but not that cheap now

My only战利品are the NaRaYa (Ribbon) Bags!

Picked during random check both times ==> HK bank refuse to supply client's personal info to merchant , only willing to check for bank (which is understandable).
==> Gap loses the order.

Once an order is picked for random check,
no way that it can get past this mess.
Not unless somebody place the order in USA using a USA-bank-issued credit card.

My cousin is still enjoying herself in Wash,
and by the time she returns to Calif not enough time to order ga la.

1 alternative :
you issue an air ticket for me, I get a free ticket for piglet, so that piglet and I can go to Legoland again and join a tour which goes to an outlet with a Gap shop and I just shop there for you loh. :lol

Doesn't the system allow you to redo it until suceed? You cannot be so lucky everytime gwa. If yes, really need to try Mark Six.

Sooo disappointed by the silly checking. Maybe the system has 'nailed in' your account already and you will be picked at every random check
