My parent-in-law also stay 3 weeks here but they can not help me, sometimes we need to take care of them. They always feel boring and need go outside.

我第一胎開刀，第二胎無諗過試順產，所以一開始已經決定再開刀，連續開左2次刀，醫生已經同我講明，生第三胎的話，就無可能順產，一定要再開刀呢....
唔緊要啦！都已經過去，傷口好快就會好返，依家有個可愛既BB就已經足 ...

At the beginning, I still want to have 開刀. But at last moment, we change our mind. Anyway I am so glad that baby is healthy and no problem

我細仔出世時, 大仔又係得2歲幾, 好痴身. 個大既唔明白點解媽咪唔陪自己, 就成日搵我. 真的好辛苦! 我當時直頭將個細仔交俾第二個睇, 自己專心陪個大既.
如果夜晚要揍B, 日頭又陪個大仔, 日夜都無得休息, 真的會好攰好攰呢!

I have the same case now. My son does not understand and he only know I do not play with him like before.

The worse thing is I can not 抱佢,但可以抱baby. He feels upset and cry

當年, 我老公就出盡九牛二虎之力, 使盡渾身解數, 引個大仔同佢玩. 大仔一搵我, 我老公就努力代替我去招呼佢.
結果大仔現在同佢爸爸感情好好, 雖然大仔仲好痴我, 但佢都好愛佢爸爸.

兩個隔2-3年的話, sibling rivalry係最厲害的. 我大仔有一年時間完全當佢弟弟不存在, 好在佢弟弟好愛佢, 用佢既熱情打動佢既心.

我細仔既first word係"哥哥"!

short course for 7yrs old kid

Hi all Brisbane Moms,

I will visit Brisbane on this 19 July for 3 weeks with my daughter (7yrs old), and will stay with my relative at Upper Mount Gravatt, I am looking for some recreatival program or short term activity program for my daughter, as I think it will be very good experience for her about school life in another country and let her feels if she like to live and study in Brisbane.

As my relative has no kid, so I am helpless.......

Do you have any recommedation for me? We will come will tour visa only, will this a problem to look for some local activities for my daugther?

my impression is they don't have a lot of recreational program here for children. unlike HK where you can join any number of extra-curricular activities. The activities are mainly held by school, after school care programme or some sports association.

I think you might search for some sports activities, like tennis, swimming, dancing, drawing etc, easier to join for a short term. But they are usually held once a week. If you are thinking of something in daily basis, it might be a bit difficult.

19 July is in the second week of 3rd school term here. Students won't have term break until September. So it is not school holiday here during your stay.

Anyway, you could wait until you are here, there are a lot of commercial flyers in each suburb, you might found something interesting near your friend's place.

Or someone here might give you more information.
