Hello!

Sabina, both Cherly and I are living in Tseung Kwan O,
where do you live? i am living in Oscar by the sea while
she is in East point city, i think we can see each other
later..

by the way, i have searched a lot of info about kindergartens, hehe.
Tomorrow cherly and I will visit Learning Habbitat
in its Tai Kwok Tsui Campus tomorrow, as it is open day.
What is your target kindergarten? By the way, how old is your bb??

I live in Metrocity Phase 2.
"Tai Kwok Tsui Campus, as it is open day." When will you go to there? I need to work in Saterday am. My son now is 16 months, on 16/4 (2:00-4:00pm) will go to Fanny's workshop to take a trial lesson. I really want to join you ....
"What is your target kindergarten?" In fact, I want to find the kindergarden has a linkage with a famous primary school. I heard some kindergardens in Hang Hau are quite good..! However, until now I still cannot understand myself... On the one hand, I don't want let my son take a school bus to school where out of TKO everyday, on the other hand, I want to wider my son's view...

Then how about you, what's yr target kindergarden? :-P

We will go tomorrow. I think different mom has different expectation
to their kids. For me, i would like him to study in a kindergarten,
with good academic, with very happy life, also can have a lot of
chances to speak, learn English, so i must need a kindergarten
which has native English speakers teaching English every day.
The reason why i stress English in kindergarten, is because he is
very young, similar to a blank paper, if you feed him English, he
will treat it as a habit, no pressures. However, if the kindergarten
cannot train him well in English, then it seems that he will be forced
to memorize the phase, words in English, which he may lose his interests and
may hate English. Also, now the Government really wants to promote the
Chinese as mother language in Secondary schools, so if baby can have a
good foundation in English, he can still enter into the English secondary
schools.

for the kindergartens in Tseung Kwan O, i cannot say they are not good,
but so far they are not so outstanding. Like Po Leung Kok, it is very
traditional teaching, the teachers are always black faces and they are using
very tough, strict methods to teach kids, for example, if they are not queueing
up in a straight line, the teachers will blame them and punish them, it is not
i want. I will let Moses study PN in Greenville, and then study outside kindergartens,
i actually don't want him go by school bus, but not all moms can afford living in
Kowloon Tong..
lastly, my target schools are :

1.ST.Catherines.
2/金巴倫英文小學暨幼稚園
3/學之園
4朗思國際幼稚園
5/劍鳴幼稚園
and will try flwg ..

6/九龍禮賢學校
7/崇真小學暨幼稚園

but I was blamed by many nurses (7-8) and 1 doctor. They blamed me and push me to give birth URGENTLY. :-( The doctor even press my tummy.

but it is based on 10 installment, so if 3300x 10 = 33000/12, = $ 2750. however, for some other kindergartens, they are based on 11 or 12 installment, so ST.cat is not very expensive, and i think it is worth paying this if it is a very good kindergarten.
