Piglet continued to complain of pain in left knee last Friday, after swimming lesson. (I had thought water therapy would do some good.) He refused to see Tit-Da, so I took him to an orthopaedic specialist on Saturday.

Result :
His left foot is now more expensive than his right foot.
Took X-ray of left knee.
No crack in bones (knee cap nor bones), but tendons just covering knee cap was hurt.
No sports activities for 2-3 weeks until healed.
Physiotherapy at the ortho's - cold compress with pressure, + ultrasound...
My pocket suffered the most pain :
$450 for X-ray,
$750 for ortho incl physio.
Need to go again for 1-2 times this (+next) Sat = $750 x 2 at least.
No swimming / PE in school, no dodgeball ECA, no swimming in TST YMCA, no TKD.
He was supposed to attend TKD belt exam past Sunday,
school swimming exam this Mon,
TST YMCA swimming exam this Fri.

I asked piglet whether he dared jump the stairs again,
he said, why not, there are so many benefits :
he can sit on MTR, take taxi ride, skip all sports, take lift in school...

Will bill him for all medical costs.:tongue:

yes, the things is not really cheap.

i just bought some make-up with 10% discount and some special package.

For my son, he bought the long sleeves swimming suit, some popular toys - will your son play 爆圓,

The Lego sales at Sogo is cheating, they offer 10% discount except speical offer items, BUT all the Lego they chopped special offer, so no discount at all.

If you have HSBC Plantimum card, they offer additional 10% discount at every Friday........

i will go there again this Friday for the supermarket's products.....

any good suggestion?

i went there with my son last Sat. It is quite interesting workshop, you can creat your own robot and using some computer's programme, then the robot can move or if you add some lighting, then the robot can shine with different colour, this workshop is FOC, enrol asap

I did enrol my son to a course on simple machine building for kinder kids this Summer.

Re: Sogo --> no sum-sui yet cos I find the price in sales is not attractvie. So I didn't buy anything.

Just bought some food (crackers, noodles, raisin, oats etc) at Wing On last Sat.

For Lego, all products (incl the newly launched Speed Racers) are 20% off at Wing On.

btw, what is 爆圓?

I'm not sure what the 爆丸 looks like,
but piglet told me that one of the boys in his class bought 1 with his own pocket money,
took it back to school and played with it,
but since no toys were allowed,
it was confiscated by his class teacher.
No return policy.
