Regarding your questions:
(1) I didn't feel hungry as I throw up all the time since 5th week... I am currently at 14-15th week, but I still throw up 5 times a day... I heard others/doctors said pregnant women need to eat frequently and each time with small amount, this helps to release the throwing up.
(2) For the stretch marks cream, my doctor and sister recommended "renatol" by Wyeth. My sister said it could be bought at Watson, not very expensive and is good. According to the instructions, we need to apply it at early stage of pregnancy.
(3) For the PWH's "唐氏" test, it took me 2.5 hours, most of the time I was waiting, waiting to take the blood, waiting to take the U/S check, waiting for the result to be out... The result will be ready around 1 hr after you have finished your U/S check.
I was pregnant last year around SARS period, throwing out for 3 months and was alone in an out-of-town project, and finally, my membrane has leakage at 16th week and I got mis-carriage at 18th week... This time, I have sign of mis-carriage for 3-4 weeks, need to stay in bed, then, 坐骨神經痛 and could not walk and sit, I wish all the sicknesses will leave me and I could have a happy ending and a happy baby.
BTW, is there anyone taking the pill "Materna"? I always throw it out after I take it and I need to re-take it :-( I always ask my doctor to give me 2 more weeks of pills just in case I throw them out...
I am taking Materna now. I didn't throw up, so that is okay. But it causes constipation. You have to take good care of yourself!

My appetitize was so good and I didn't throw up, so I have gained quite a few pounds. But I haven't gained any these 2,3 weeks. I think my baby absorb all of the food.
I am almost 14 week now. Will find out the gender of the baby in 16 week when I have next ultrasound.
Thanks God that I haven't vomited so far in these 12 weeks and my apetitize is okay, just like normal but I find my taste changes quite frequently... sometimes I like sour foods especially soups... so I like milestone and Borch very much... ^O^
I start to wear maternity trousers which I brought it from a shop called Frankie Maternity in Ocean terminal... coz of 50% discount, the price becomes much lesser...
I gain 2 kg during the last 6 weeks when I did my last antenatal visit in QE. I've asked the nurse there should my increase in weight is in normal position but she said... you can eat everything you like and don't 'keep fit'... wooooo!
I like vegetables and soups very veyr much... and so I don't have the problem of constipation yet... I eat 2 oranges per day... but still I don't liek to eat meat... coz I always think it's not easy to digest. Fish is okay but my mum doesn't allow me to eat shrimps, crabs... sashimi... my favourite foods... oh nooooo...
However, I have a problem of primples... before preg, I haven't got any of these on my face... this only happened when I was young... but now... oh no... I find myself too ... wooooo?!
My taste changes a lot too. Last month I love chicken and this month I hate it. I like beef now. I don't like veggies but I know it is good for me... so I eat more now.

Pimple is normal because of the hormon changes. Maybe you are having a boy!

Regarding the topic "政府醫院產檢係咪咁差", I also have a bad experience with the public hospital doctor. I went to PWH for the first meeting with the doctor, I had my blood taken 2 weeks before that meeting and the nurse told me that my blood report will be ready by the time when I meet the doctor. So, I asked the doctor how's the blood report. He looked at my file and told me that the blood report was not ready yet. After the check-up, I was sent to meet another nurse for the "sugar water test survey", she was looking at my file and she told me that my blood report was ready and she even showed me the report and let me read it. I don't know why that doctor told lie to me, I guess he was afraid I will pass the blood test result to my private doctor. My husband asked me to complain that doctor, but I was afraid I will meet him in the coming 6 months, so, just forget it...
