經過Brian'Mother介紹,反我自己連日來周圍問人,我終於買左個web cam, 但未裝. 依種web cam唔係普通o個D, 依款係唔雖要在公司裝任何software, 以免比公司咋型, 只要可以在公司上得網就ok. 資料如下, 希望幫到大家.

I've just back to work and have installed 2 web cams at my home, it's around HK$1200 per cam with the software. It works very well. It's not the pinhole type and i told my maid I've installed the cams (as it's not too small, everyone can see the cam). It doesn't need to install any software in office's computer and no monthly fee is required. I also no need to turn on the computer at home for the cams.

This is how it's work (as far as I know):
The image of the cams go to the router and transfer to the internet. Therefore, if you dont have the rounter, you need to buy 1, it's around HK$400-HK$600. The rounter can provide the security for and prevent other people to view the images of your home as it requires log-in password to access it. It also can provide the wirless internet connection for my computer at home.

Frankly, the installation set up is quite technical and if you are not familiar with IT, you better paid and ask the people to set it up for you. I try to set up the IP address and the rounter and it takes me almost a day to figure it out, finally i have to ask my IT friend to do it for me.

My cams are made in Japan and it call PCI cam. I hope i get the name right and I bought it from a big electronic store in Sham Shui Po.
