請問將會自由行北海道既媽咪, 你地book左民宿/hotel未丫? 富良野Pension Furanui都幾貴, 仲有冇其他便宜d又交通方便d呢? thx.

some experience sharing with Fiona and icecream,
I went to hokkaido with my 30 months old boy and my hubby last July, This was the second time for me to travel with my boy to Japan by ourselves.

1. In Sapporo, the Toyoko Inn is very cheap and near to JR station,<10000 yen for twin room.

2. better to stay in Furano biei for 2-3 days to fully enjoy the beautiful scence of lavendar, and the sight-seeing points are far away from each other, you need few days to visit the mian points, must go---Lavendar field, cheese factory to join the ice-cream making lesson with your kid,strawberry and cherry picking.

3. enjoy living in the pension rather than in hotel in FURANO/BIEI,because this is a nice experience, also to enjoy the food they prepared, it is really good. Don't worry about the air-con, normally the temperature in summer in Hokkaido is around 20 at night, you only care about catching cold, except the abnormal high temperatuer in last July .

4. it is better to rent a car if you travel with the
kid, he can sleep better in the car and you can manage the time better.

5. take the" Ding Dong" train in Hakodate if your kid is its fans.

6. go to Akachan to buy the "pigeon" wet tissue and the kid's clothes and accessories, it is very cheap, the shop is near to Sapporo station.

7. visit the zoo in Sapporo or Asahikawa

my 行程 was roughly as follow:
D1-D3------Sapporo, Otaru
D4-D5-------Hakodate, mianly for "Din Dong" train because my son is its fans.
D6-D9----- furano, Biei
D10-D11-------Asahikawa, Sapporo

This is really a great experience, initially, we are hesitate to travel with my boy for so many days, but he enjoy very much , until now , he can remember where we have visited and what have we done, eg cherry picking and ice cream making. and we found that Hokkaido is more suitable for travelling with kids than Toyko. We must go again later.

我一家八月頭都會去北海道睇花, 因為用miles七月已經冇位, 所以要八月出發, 打算租車到富良野美瑛逗留兩三日, 不過都仲未book民宿o

i've booked flights to Tokyo (July 14~19) + Sapporo (July 19~23) by asia miles.

i found yr 果園資料 is very attractive...i m especially interested in the 車里子園, however, if i also go to enjoy the lavendar blossom w/ my little son who is now 3.5 years old, how i can plan the itinerary.

for the accommodation, do you have any idea on 民宿, and can we communicate in Eng as i totally dont know Japanese?
if stay in a hotel, any good and reasonable suggestions?

Akachan-- no chinese name, it is a shop just like the 'ho far" group in HK, they sell maternity goods, baby's and kid' goods, they have shop all over japan, I have seen somebody have mention in this site.

1. for strawberry picking, I went to the farm that Chris have mention. For cherry picking, I went to the farm near Otaru. web site:

2. I have not rent a car because my hubby refuse to do so, but it is very hard and time consuming for me to plan when to catch the bus from one place to another place,and manage the time, it have a great limitation .so next time I must rent a car and I need to learn to drive!

3. for Asahikawa, it take ~1 hour by train from sapporo, I mainly visit the zoo there, but the shopping street near the station is great, many shops and the price is much cheaper than in Sapporo and Tokyo, I brought a lots there.

I think I have to “ga-yau” to plan my Hokkiado trip la. I will stay at Hokkiado for 8 days. Visit札幌, 小樽, 美瑛, 富良野. Want to add one more place, other than函館, any suggestion?

之前跟團去過d類似市場般d地方食seafood. Any idea?
