Hi! Dear all mammy: I am not a new member. Just changed a new name. I am living in Ajax, Toronto, Canada, For 6 years. Came from Hong Kong. Have a 1 year old baby. He is start in walking. And he has 4 tooth.
I had been living in Toronto for more than 9+ years. Came back to HK for good for 7 years. I have a 10 months old son. He has got 5 teeth. He can walk only by grabbing the edge of the sofa.
I miss Toronto too. I'm going to visit my family members there next summer. Thinking of buying some good for my bb in Toronto. Any suggestions?

Are you graduated from York? My cousin is studying in York now. The fee for the university is rising every year, I have started to contribute the RSEP for my girls already.

Hope nothing happen this year for the 911. However, my younger daughter started her first day school on that day.

If I'm not wrong, I have seen the posted picture of your boy before.

Eating out is very convenience. You have a lot of variety to choose from. My friends visited me last week, they asked me to bring them to eat congee/woton noodle. They had not eaten these in New Jersey for two years already. If I need to travel long time to eat out, I rather stay home.

I'm fine. I have a friend lives in Ajax too. Some of my colleuges live there too.

Have you started to contributed on RESP? I contribute not much, just about $100 for each of them every month. You should start asap, if not have one, the fee for university is really high, rising every year. I have my agent for insurance to do this for me. You can check several companies to find the most benefitial one to youself.

Not joking, I've been in Canada for 3 years but only been to downtown for less than 5 times only. FYI, there will be an international kite festival at Miliken Park in Scarborough this Saturday and Sunday. I've been there last year but not sure will go this time or not. My sister is asking me to take care of her monster for these two days.

I don't know yet. It's ok for me to bring my two girls only, but can't handle three of them. I have to check with my sister if she really wants me to take care of her son or not.
We had a regular part-time come to my house once a week. $40/day. but not include ironing. Laundry and housecleaning. The only problem is she relay on public transit.
I know this topic is 加拿大既媽咪. Just my two cent from 加拿大既Daddy.

yours part-time is on a daily basis ($40 day) or on a hourly basis ($40 for how many hours). i really want someone to do the ironing, i can do the laundry myself. i hate ironing and will only iron clothes one by one (on needing to wear basis). thanks.
We paid $40/job. Depends how quickly she finish the work. Usually she comes @ 10:00am and leave around 3:30pm. I remembered we ask that question before and she told us she rather spend the time on cleaning our house than on ironing.

can you check for me if she wishes to do part time for me? i live in condo, about 1450 sq. ft. (kennedy/sheppard), so i think not too much housecleaning for her. will she do job on saturday afternoon, or sunday (anytime). i am only available for these two time schedule, as i need to go to work. does she wish to come on a bi-weekly basis. thanks.
I asked her again this morning while she is cleaning my house. Unfortunately, her husband goes to work in the weekends and she needs to stay home look after her children. Sorry.
