My ex-maid ate with us together sometimes and we found that we don't like this practice thereafter as she was picky in food as if she was the master (even more picky than us). When she became less helpful towards the end of the contract and we became more angry with her eating manner. So, when the new maid comes, we asks her to eat in the kitchen. I'd rather handle my son by my own as I want to train my son to eat on his own rather than fed by maid all the time.
