Yes, I left a cell phone for Kv so that we could keep contact and pillow talk when he's at the camp site.

I bought a mini remote helicopter before at Sogo, and it's wings were broken and could not work after 5 minutes play!!

All,

Went to Food Expo last night..... won't go again next time as there're really TOO MANY PEOPLE and I almost could not walk!!

Price of food e.g. instant noodle, canned food, bottled drinks, coffee, snacks, oil, sauce etc is cheaper when compared with that of supermarket, but you have to 攞餐死！！

I saw two men who almost fight because of 試食/打尖！！

Will watch Jim's '超人阿四' tonight and 3D version of 'Journey to the centre of the Earth' tmr. This movie must be v exciting!!

Just 1 week to go and Kv's summer holiday will come to an end! Time to get back to original track....

I watched the ZAIA show of Cirque du Soleil 太陽劇場 at Venetian Macau last weekend. We sat at the 4th row from the stage. It's an excellent show. Highly recommended to you all. : )

Buddies,

Lately I read Roald Dalh books with bees. I chose only those short stories. They really funny. Bee's favourites are:

The enormous crocodile
The giraffe, the pelly and me
Esio Trot (reverse of 'tortoise')

Now we have started 'The Twits'. Interesting!!!!

Lately, bee also loves "Don't put gravy and mustard into the custard" poem books. Very funny. He would giggle loudly when listening those really silly poems..

I wish to let him know that chapter books could be fun too!!

Bee's school has already started for 3 days la. Hv all your kids' summer holidays ended?

Recently I bought Franny K. Stein Mad Scientist series for Kv. The stories are easy to read (almost half illustration half words), silly and hilarious. There are 7 titles in this series. Highly recommended to reluctant/struggling readers!

i saw a Taiwan's shop and artist fruit's shop , the fruit's shop really very expensive for some items.

Yes, the Franny Stein series is v interesting. Kv ate up all FS's books in just 2 nights!!

Actually these are not science book but just fiction.

I ordered 6 of them from paddyfield: boxed set of first 4 titles costs $120 and the remaining 2 (Frantastic voyage and The Fran with four brains) at $40@.

I'm afraid piglet is deep into PC games (internet) now, whenever he has time and the PC is turned on.
No time for books lately.

Frankly speaking, I don't quite know which street / road in Kln City is which, and I usually just go to those I like ga ja.
There are a few Thai shops near bus stop opposite ex-Kai Tak Airport. No I haven't eaten any Thai mangoes lately, just wanted Filipino ones.

There are a few shops selling expensive fruit and meat near the Kln City Market ga.

I saw a new art studio / lessons setup near the 113 bus stop on Junction Road (near PK on Pr Edward Road), uses Caran D'Arche art material. Looks very pro. Did you notice that one ?

Took piglet for eye check yesterday, at HK Society for the Blind (in Pak Tin).

Wanted to book an appointment last Mon, but all available times were already fully booked. The staff told me to try again later, cos some ppl may cancel their appt. Or I can go in person to make appt cos going in person = can book 6m ahead, while tel booking = within 1m.
So I went last Fri to make a booking - and jup dead chicken for a booking at 9am yesterday !

$120. Piglet still has 50o 遠視 for both eyes, despite his PC games.

Bee has not really started chapter books seriously. I am trying hard to cultivate his interest in chapter books so that he won't rely too much on pictures gradually. So far, RD books are very succesfully in arousing his interest. He can recite some episode of each short story and sing songs of the Giraff, the Pelly and Me too.

I will move home upon maternity and work in another branch office in early 2009 so clearing stocks!!! haaa...
