ic~ my family also like big oranges ga. my mom used to buy from To Kwa Wan (much cheaper and bigger). I think it's too far and heavy for her

but she said those around my home is not good wow.

The centre is in Prince Edward. There are shoes for women, men, nurses, aged, ..., etc. However, they are a bit 鈍. Like those in Dr. Kxxx.

The shoes are not expensive but the 鞋墊 are. The shoes are just $399 but the 鞋墊 are 880. But, the 鞋墊 are tailor-made. Last weekend, my son 做模. They will sent the 模to make 鞋墊. After the 鞋墊 are ready, I have to bring my son to see the pod or the doctor whose clinic in Central District for fitting. In the old days, only people with traditional foot problems like 長短腳 would go to those pod.

I am not so sure if flat feet problem in kids is associated with body weight. My son is chubby and 比較肉地厚! He always yells he's tiried when he goes shopping with me. But, he complains less when he plays soccer, swimming or goes to the playground.

Of course piglet has same behaviour !!

Groans and complains re why no elevator/lift for going up / down, but will run down the stairs in MTR station; why no seats when he rides on MTR.

Yesterday evening we had dinnner with Sandycat + son + same age new friend. The 3 kids just ran and ran around in Langham Place, did not complain at all ! But once back home and needs to eg practice his piano, do some online Engl ex, ==> tired and sleepy woh !

I have missed the government eye-sight check for my son years before. Someone from 健康院 has called me and told me to make an appointment at a part. centre when my son is 5. However, at that time, I was quite busy and forgot all about it.

Besides the paid service at PolyU or private centres, is there anywhere I can get the free service before he goes to Primary?

Why don't you call up the Mother & Child Health Clinic and ask whether you can take him there now cos you forgot all about it .......or give you some advice.......

I think HKSociety for the Blind's Gen Eye ... Clinic at $120 is already the cheapest around.

Piglet has been using SPI for 2 yrs. Pulling part of 2 zips came off, and yanyan tied cloth name labels for pulling instead. Still usable.

Just called home to ask yanyan for you :

1. Usually she uses washing powder + water ==> use damp cloth / toothbrush to brush-clean dirty parts.

2. If REALLY dirty, can put in a net and just wash in washing machine, then dry for a few days.
(She did this for her former employer's elder son, whose SPI was vvv dirty, both inside and out, incl pencil dirt inside. But no need for piglet.)

My son did his eye check once a year at 東華東院眼科部 since end of K1. And he has now seen the eye doctor for 3 times already.

Think you may call them and see how to make appointment. btw, you may need to get referral from GP before.

PS. I'm going to watch Jacky Cheung's concert tonight! Very expecting!!!

The street is parallel to Sharp Street and just next to it. The shop is called "mini" or "mimi" (can't remember exactly :-P). Price ok la. But that street has some other boutique also ok ga, you may go there and have a look
