I heard from another BK mum that she switched from yanyan to bunbun a few months ago, but the bun was v careless, mum found fish bone and even pork chop bone in 2y kid's food, so are trying to help the ex-bun to resign from new job and re-hire her again.

No worry at all, another one will be yanyan, well trained from singapore. My sis-in-law already interview 2 yesterday and most important is this agency we have been in contact for years, always concern the employer's need and think on the employer side, not from the maid side.

Hi, yes. It will pass so fast. I will miss their infancy stage. How old are yours? Which schools do they go? I hope my girl will be easier to raise than my boy. Wishful thinking.

How to prepare my girl for SPCS (R's one) at kinder stage? Is the school surrounded by heavy traffic? One concern is possible allergy to pollution. Any problem as such in R coz of the environment of the school? Any good improvement since we last talked b4 the KK trip? Does she takel a slice of fish a day still?

GC,

SPK should be ok since only one side traffic on the Leighton Road, happy schoolife and helps to build their confidence and reading. We like it so much, as a parent, no pressure for us, as long as they pass the exams can promote. The only hint is to let your girl attend the Pre nursery class before the interview and have the knowledge on the daily acessories e.g. toothbrush, tooth paste, fruits, shape etc, since the girl will be led by the teacher to have the interview which is separated from the parents and the kid should not be "sticky" to us. The 3 questions for parents are : 1. Why do choose this school? 2. What do you think of the relationship between the school, the parents and the kid ? 3. Who takes care of your kid ?

Her cough allergy has improvied since our trip to KK, we let her take the Chinese worm soup once a month and boil some Chinese herbal tea for her occasionally. However, her nose allergy is still on.

She is still taking a slice of fish every day now

Not so fast for Lego. Will let you know in advance. V busy these days, work created by my bosses. Need to tidy up before my Sing trip which is only 1 week away, then disappear for 2 weeks !

Need to buy a digital camera tonight for the trip tonight.
My old one was mysteriously broken (either by piglet or pohpoh but both denied).
Also need a trolley cabin luggage, .....

The girls of 2 of my ex-colleagues are in GT. They said no pressure, happy school life. I did consider GT but I gave up when I found out that P1-P3 must be in Mongkok campus (in the past you can choose among TKO or MK campus) while Junpa dislikes the surrounding environment.

I have 2 kids. Boy 7yo in Wah Yan, girl 4yo in So Chit. My husband told me for the first time last nite that I had many many grey hair at the back of my head which I didn't see! Must be the kids!

Didn't buy digital camera,
our usual shop quoted px which was above my expecttions (after checking on price.com)
so must look elsewhere in other shops.
MUST buy before next Sat cos I need it for Sing ah !

Still hasn't balanced the a/c
suspect it's becos I transferred between investment account and current account
but don't know how they should really be entered.
?-( Need to double check with my prev workings (which was done 4y ago).
Miraculously I sometimes have them perfectly balanced !
But takes time, and I only have a few days left.

Really!! Actually I also dislike only the MK school campus!!! Otherwise, it fits bee very much!! I know it is a very good school too.
Anyway, I have not made up my mind la.

Btw, Jun will go to P1 next year or 2010?

Hi, JSmami,

Agree that it's likely because of the kids. :) You are not alone. Are you working mom? I am and will return to work soon la. Will miss my little ones during office hours.

I wish that my kids could be more independent and we can have quality time spent on reading,playing and chatting. I don't like to spend all the evening for urging kids to finish up homework... So tired of the process. Do you spend a lot of time on homework with your kids?

Bee always has excuse to postpone completinng his homework! Silly pig!

Tks for the detailed information indeed.

Good that R's allergy has been alleviated. I take anti-allergy pill prescribed by my physician. It works perfectly well for me. To cure my allergy cough, I drink vinegar ginger from time to time (not even during maternity leave).

Chinese worm grass also works well on Bee. His health has been boosted!!!

R does really well at SP. Congrats indeed!! You and your hubby must be proud of her!! Re eating fish each day, for the sake of DHA?

Or R is fond of fish. Bee likes to eat fish very much. He requests also eating the skin of the fish!!

I am a working mum

Good thing is my son is quite fast at homework, but no matter how fast, I don't have much time btw coming home & putting them to bed. Always a tug of war btw my 2 kids trying to get my time & attention. I have no eye see when my younger daughter goes to primary

I just shared with RMM today there's always a discount btw what I teach my son & what he gets. If he is not "left ear in, right ear out", we can do a lot more together.

I called the math school to confirm the workshop already.

It is close to YMT MTR, so quite easy to get there.

I will enrol their spring program too, but just on waiting list!
