Kanax,
No problem for me. I follow the others. I just saw Fat Angelo also has similar program, allowing kids to go into their kitchen. Anyone interested?
Kanax & NamNam21,
Right after he was scolded hard by Jsdaddy, he really turned better!
This weekend Jsdaddy & I are very happy. We went to Justin's school for a mid term school report. Our welcome gift is, Justin's teachers put his drawings on the front page of 2 booklets (showing the students' work to the parents). We thought it was a coincidence. But when we glimpsed thru the books, Justin's painting was indeed quite good cf. other children's.
We met 3 of his teachers. Justin scored 12 stars out of 19 which I thought was very good. Haha, my requirement is very low (but his classmate whose report followed right after Justin's did much worse). Of course we knew what Justin did worst - "temperament" ("chou-hang") but the teachers said there was big improvement since Sep.
Justin's teacher said he was the top 1 or 2 in terms of school work (sitting down, writing or drawing attentively & confidently) & english (according to a native eng. teacher).... Pardon me, I don't mean to be boastful at all - as you all know how much struggle I have to put up with this boy, this is the first time somone complimented on my son & it feels so sweet!
Yesterday, we rode on a tram. Coming right towards us is another tram going in the opposite direction. I was shocked when he told me, "North Pole" - the tram went to North Point but I never told him before, so he was reading the words out by his limited phonics (beginning sounds)!
To all mums whose kids are learning music (I only know YingYing, Sheryl, Happyma, anyone else?),
What has been taught by your teachers by now already? Since I have to sit in the class with my son, I found Parson's music really taught "theory" - such as the name of the notes like semi-brieve! Anyone feels like having pressure?????? Please share!
Ying Ying & Christ,
Congratulations on the new job. Hope you two enjoy it!!!!
Matt's dad lost his wallet yesterday, he believed that it was due to Matt since he did not return it to him after "do" the Octopus. Matt was scared as Dad blamed him.
I found that it was quite difficult to teach two children (esp boys) at the same time. Matt is not a very disclipined child. Tim will follow his behaviour. Sometimes, they will run and speak loudly in public area though I have repeated told them not to do this. I felt frustrated sometimes on my parenting.
Anybody can share your views or experience on your child ??
Hello all:
Didn't chat with you guys for a long time already, just wanna drop by and say hi to everyone, I am sure all the April birthday kids have a good time at the party and time flies they all turned 4 now  I felt Lok Lok talks more and more "kiu hau" lately sometimes I really wanna him, me and my hubby watch our language very carefullly already but they can learn from the school and the T.V. it is just so difficult to teach the kids nowadays
I am at 34 weeks now, I carry this one very low, I think I will have the bb girl sooner than the due date but hopefully not too soon la.
Rachel and I were attending the Tom Lee Junior Music Course (4 years old) and coming Sat will be our 13th lesson. So far so good and both of us enjoyed so much. The teacher is also a good one, she can arouse the interests of the kids and maintain the order in the class quickly.
Re the EQ class, please visit the website www.cytchk.com, they have on-going EQ class for different age groups. 50 mins every Saturdays from 2:00 to 2:50 for age 4. Even in coming summer, they have arranged 1 week of intensive EQ course from Tue to Fri.
